Simple.
Just because other things are bad, does not mean we should ignore this.
This thread is about portals, about a current problem and even though this time around blizzard told us directly that they don’t care about our input, hey we might as well try, right?
's not like we have talked about how horrible classes in BFA are for the past…
5? 6 months?
The complaints in this thread should redirect to class balance and content that’s simple.
but the usual GD forum user will cry about the most useless thing which is there to offer even if the biggest problems are the 2 things I have listed above. And these threads are usually the threads where blizzard is taking action so they can show they are caring. This thread shouldn’t exist at all. People which love this game and want it to be better will be saying to themselves “okay portals fine a bit pruned okay who cares but about what the other things?”
Where were you when we talked the other things before?
You want a convo about how horrible the classes are? Go make a thread about it!
Right now we are talking about blizzard telling us to our faces that they listen, but don’t care and trying to justify why this change is good, using the word “trying” very loosely.
Virtually nothing has changed from all the months of complaining and given how blizzard is, I doubt that anything will change regarding classes until next expansion.
And I already dread how that will turn out.
Have you read the forums in the past? There were more than enough threads about these issues … As for portal removal, we still have some time before it goes live + e.g. portal to Ironforge will be added, so we still have oppurtunity to give them feedback, that could have impact.
Care to explain how deflecting from a discussion and problem that very clearly numerous people are having by “Look this thing that has been talked to death since day one of the Alpha” is any more useful?
This is not about fixing.
We can’t fix anything.
All we can do is complain.
And we’ve complained a lot about bigger problems about which blizzard does nothing to fix, instead they are creating more problems.
So only thing we can do is complain about the other problems as well.
Are classes bad?
Yes, yes they are.
Is Azerite system bad?
Yes, yes it still is, albeit a bit better than during first patch.
Do we still hate all of these problems?
Yes, yes we do, but why should we ignore another problem? Why should we let it slide? Even more so now that Blizzard told us that our feedback goes one ear in, other ear out?
Now another blue polite post , pretending genuine, starting a new topic, because multiple topics of 5k are better than a giant 10k+, with the real message " we don’t really care, suck it up and open your wallets"
In 8.1.5 also comes “raiding with leashes” for Pandaria.
I’m very humoured, most raids are on the opposite side of the Jade Forest. Don’t tell me it hasn’t been thought through and there is some hidden agenda from Blizzard
I have yet to understand why Blizzard add something only to remove it. It’s like making a pie, eating a portion of it and then throwing it away because you dont want to share it. And it’s not like these portals have been here for a week or so, some of them have been here for quite some time - to me it feels like it negates the time put in to create them.
Because it was a mistake to add it in the first place?
Or because the thing they added came with an expiration date which they forgot about, so now it’s begun to rot and someone needs to clean that mess up?
Indeed. Was a mistake to add something that works in player advantage without any side effect. Chain of mistakes, from the CoT portal in Wrath to the Legion ones. Ofc, players resorting to open questlines for artifact purchase or Chromie scenario and never complete them just to keep certain portals open is desirable game behaviour.
That was not as funny as “grind KoT rep on each alt if you want CoT portal”.
If the advantage gets increasingly bigger as you add more and more, yes. The end of that route is called instant gratification.
You make it sound as if it’s a big deal to run through Escape from Durnholde Keep, pull all the mobs, AoE them down, reset the instance, and repeat it a dozen times.
And if it is a big deal, then you can always buy reputation tokens from the Timewalking vendor next time it comes up. They’re Bind on Account.
