hum not really, it was addressed in the Q&A and they will add a CoT portal, I think we judge it was a fair compromise.

errr no. “forgetting” something once the disputed issue has been rectified to a agreeable point is not “forgetting”. its been put to how it should be so why would we need to continue focusing on this point? ie. portals.
blizz are putting the CoT portal back. the only 2 missing portals now are dala crater, and kara entrance, and the bad choice of legion and pandaland portals. (should have been shrine and suramar i suggest).
if blizzard put 2 seconds of thought into this they would never have needed to back track and look the fool. cause they do look so foolish and it shows that the people playing the game know what they want a lot more than the devs do. (“you think you do, but you dont. oh, wait, what? you actually do? whoops”)
unless of course, and this is always going on, they make such a messes on purpose so that we focus on that mess and avoid the plethora of concerns elsewhere. funny the flying issue was in WoD, and the portal issue was in BfA, arguably the worst 2 expansions in the game. which makes blizzards actions even MORE insidious rather than just being pathetic.
and besides, it would never have been forgotten. yes, players would just have to waste more time flying places, but they still will be irritated in patch 9.0, or 10.0 having to fly all the way to CoT when in the past they could just port to the entrance. silence doesn’t mean its been forgotten.
