So many say this but it is untrue it is pugs that abused the ML system and very very few guilds .
I hope it does it helps decent wholesome guilds .
Any guild that uses ML/Loot council was abusing it. As long as you’re not giving loot by the dice but using a priority system such as " Officer > Trial " you’re basically using Trials as unpaid interns so they can gear up the people you want to be geared.
And that sucks. I don’t want to raid weeks and get nothing because of ML.

If in top guild you have to serve a trail and dps are always geared first .
You can go weeks now without loot with PL i killed 30 heroic raids bosses before i got my first drop .
I guess you must have missed all the posts on the forums saying loot drops are bad .

If the odds of getting a drop are 10% the odds of you having no loot in 30 bosses is incredibly low.
And you’re the one making things up to defend your opinion.
Master Loot was harmful and the source of countless reports, witch hunts for ninjalooters and so on. Good thing it’s gone.
Master Loot is bad, m’kay.
Imho, the only issue with Personal Loot, is not being able to trade it, if it’s technically an upgrade for your own character…but, I understand why Blizz did that.

Peeps who say that, generally play/played with a trusted group of friends…Ninja looting was most definitely an issue, that’s why the system was changed.

I agree it was bad but i think the pugging scene ruined it and a very select few guilds . If so many ruined it as the rumours be truthful we would have seen guild after guild with there names being dragged through the mud all over the place and strangely enough we didnt . I know it happened but not as much as said .
Agreed…although I think it did go further than that, since there is the infamous Asmongold video, where he passionately argued for the re-introduction of Master Loot…and then near the end of the vid, admitted to having tried to ninja a BOE, from his own Guild group.
Certainly I believe there were plenty of Guilds who were honest in loot distribution…although that could include telling peeps that, honestly you are not getting loot, until you have earned a regular Raid slot.
For Blizz to have made the change, I’m fairly sure they must have been getting a lot of complaints, that were not getting publicised elsewhere.
Tbh, from what I remember back in TBC, blacklisting was more likely to feature Guild Bank thieves, than Ninja Looting, which just got you kicked.

He is very strange i niether like him or dislike him he has some good views and some really out there one’s but to ninja from your own guild when you are like him he must have had something going on to even think about it .

In the past most of the guilds got broken down because people disagreed who should have the loot . So I am okay with current system

I don’t see why anybody is against Master Loot being brought back. It’s a positive for the people who want it, and if you don’t like it just don’t use it and join groups that use Personal Loot instead?
It’s like being upset they introduced mechagnomes as a playable race … sure I think they suck, but guess what? I just don’t play them and let the people who do like them enjoy them.
