Reasons to quit

I know nobody cares if a random player announces quitting this game. I just wanna say the reasons why.

  • No lfr, I simply won’t have time to commit 2 nights a week to raiding.

  • Nothing to do for the next weeks. As I don’t have time to raid and don’t even have a raid spot in a guild (nobody even recruits someone not able to participate every run). World bosses are not live, lfr isn’t going to be live, celestials aren’t live. All I can do for the next weeks are grinding reputation trough dailies and do 5 mans that I gain nothing out of. Also what will my end game content be? Farming celestials? There are no pugs, it’s just paid services or gdkp.

  • Pvp is dead, people afk honor and don’t even try.

  • 0 communication. Information is hard to find, you barely find something googling and ending up on wowhead.

  • All the bugs. Seriously, haven’t logged in once without bugs existing in the game.

  • All my friends already quit due to fiasco of a launch.

  • Toxic community. I expected most of the players to be gen x or millenials, yet the chat is childish. Someone asks a question in the /2 or /lfg, 10 people make smartypants comments or troll, 0 actual answers. People try to steal tags and quest items infront of your nose, nobody accepts group invites (when you do quests that don’t require looting and are faster to complete as a group). I’ve seen so much stupid *nal joke spam in the channels, Epstein jokes etc.
Toxic players in the dungeon finder, people ninja loot items they don’t need/already have/are not their main spec. People don’t roll for loot, but instantly leave the dungeon forcing you to wait for loot.

Same here, they tell us to go retail, but it seems that most mop players are childish retail players, garbage launch full of bugs and intended extra slow leveling, not wasting any more money on this…

more like genz kiddies talking complete garbage in lfg.

Don’t sweat it, go enjoy real life, it’s just an old game re-released for a cash grab by an unscrupulous company, you got a little nostalgia hit, all good.

Yeah there’s tons of racists and bigots playing a cartoon game for some weird reason.

Pugs groups can be depressing at times I agree, I can honestly understand how they got to the stage where people play dungeons with followers/npc’s in retail rather than other humans.

WOD was terrible expansion

I have done this on a few occasions, grouping up messes up your RDF-queue. Doesn’t have to be toxic.

Lack of Time mostly. Just don’t have hours to burn mindlessly every day on something useless like WoW, my Startup is demanding all my time .

But the lack of Q&A really gave me a bitter taste, and was the final straw for me.

I mean if u want to join a fotboll teamyou have to decide do i have the time to commit and play in a team? No i dont i have to much in my life atm. Do you call the fottbollmanger and tell them that you want to play fotboll but cant be there on every training? And you still want them to let you play? No i dont think so. If i dident have time to commit to play wow i just dont play it. Why cant you just accept that you dont have time to play and you do the thing you have time to do?

I agree with bugs. It’s shame… even random 12 y.o. pserver admin can release it without bugs on random open source emulator.

Can’t commit 2 nights a week? - raiding is not for you then, why do you wan’t lfr when you can farm your bis lfr level gear from celestial dungeons lmao. Raiding is not for everyone.
Whats bad on GDKPS? It’s good way how to make ton of gold  . I love gdpks, you can easily pay game time by just running 1 gdkp weekly lol.
Nothing to do for the next weeks - do you have maxed out reps, fully geared alts in raid pre-bis, Done all avaiable achievements, propably not
PvP is dead? - just don’t solo queue? Join premade, its easy and fast, go play arenas or bully ppl in open world (propably not players p-ssied out like lil kids to have 100% ali and horde realms… shame)
Friends quit … what did they expect from blizz? Smooth launch ah cmon…
Toxic comunity - do your own research, learn how to use google, wowhead and AI, its that simple.
Just don’t be so soft, find friends… nobody wan’t play with u? Maybe issue on your side buddy… get good.

You are extremely whiny :grinning::grinning:

We don’t want LFR

And it’s fine if you have « nothing » to do in the game.
Why people want to spend all their time on WoW. I don’t get it.
When I feel like I finished the game, I simply turn off my subscription and go play something else. I come back when I feel I want to.

The entire game including retail is bum right now, good time to take a break.

Sounds like this game isn’t for you in the first place.

Would be hard to type “Sorry in queue”

Is that too much to ask, people talking ?

Firemaw alliance mindset.

When will it get better? WoD? LoL!

I will agree the levels of immaturity among a supposedly “mature” gaming community is a sight to behold.

I’ve seen multiple people on my realm who I’ve raided with in pugs and know them to be fathers in their 40’s or even 50’s post the most juvenile nonsense into trade or lfg. It’s hard to comprehend why middle aged men (it’s never women) behave like that, if you ask a question in retail, FFXIV or most other games not played by actual, literal children you’ll receive a respectful and helpful response.

Cause blizzard promotes this kind of behavior with their fomo and competition tactics

And do you ask people before grouping them or do you throw a group invite at them without a word ?
