Recent void core rollback

Dear Blizzard Support Team,

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding the recent decision to restore Void Coins to all players who rolled on Wednesday, along with granting an additional two coins as compensation.

While I understand the intention to address issues caused by the bug affecting roll outcomes, the current solution appears to have been applied universally rather than selectively. This has resulted in an unfair advantage for a significant number of players who were not impacted by the bug in the first place.

Specifically, many players—including some of my peers—received their correct items without any issue during the affected period. Despite this, they were still granted a full refund of their Void Coins, along with two additional coins. This effectively places them in a better position than players who either:

  • experienced the bug but have not yet used their refunded coins, or

  • used their coins after the issue was resolved and therefore did not benefit from the same compensation.

This blanket compensation approach creates a clear imbalance and undermines the integrity of the reward system. Players who were unaffected by the issue are now able to gain additional loot opportunities beyond what was originally intended.

I kindly ask Blizzard to review this decision and consider a more targeted compensation approach, ensuring that only players directly impacted by the bug are compensated accordingly. Maintaining fairness and consistency in game systems is essential for preserving player trust.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response.
