I thought this was fixed back in 2019 but upon quite some testing I can safely say whenever reckoning occurs (while you are in melee range with auto-attack on) it resets your swing. So if this happens right after your swing not of a big deal - your next swing will be just slightly delayed, but when for example reckoning happens right before you were about to swing then you lose that swing entirely and that makes reckoning literally useless (cause the extra attack replaced your next swing basically).
In another instance of my testing between swings I got crit like 3 times, each time resetting my swing so from my first swing to the next almost 10 seconds passed. This needs to be fixed.

i don´t know if this is true. but it´s a pvp talent anyway. it´s a gimmick for oneshotting some rogues after a stunlock, without them being able to do anything against insta death. nothing more^^
don´t get your hopes up for bugs on any classic version to ever be fixed by blizz if that bug isn´t game breaking.
Bg’s or wpvp is just as much a part of the game as instances or picking flowers is.

Jeah? I mostly play for pvp. 
But
- Blizzard won’t care
- This way the talent works even better for pvp. It’s supposed to oneshot after a build up. If it is not then it has failed its purpose and the rogue will use his tools to recover / get healed / whatever. So a bugfix (if it even is a bug and not intended) would be a nerf to it in pvp anyway. But if it’s that what u want…
It works fine when you are tanking too
It doesn’t actually. If you’re autoattack is off and you’re getting stunlocked by a rogue you’ll still gonna get your reckon charges (only when you get crit of course). But if you’re just meeleing with auto on and a reckon occurs it’s gonna reset your swing which means less dps. You’ll have to manually turn auto on just before your next swing and off right after, which in a pvp encounter with everything else going on, is NOT good at all.
I’ve been experiencing the exact same thing. Pallytime talks about it in a video how it works on Nightslayer US and how it should work on EU aswell. Basically getting a reckoning charge should not reset your autoattack timer at all. Strange that it works different on EU realms. You can essentially go like 10 secs without getting an auto-attack if reckoning keeps proccing, really depressing =/
I saw that video. Literally 10 seconds passed between swings cause there were 2 reckoning happening. Definitely depressing. This needs fixing asap
the point is exactly that u WANT it to reset. u want max stacks and then BOOM all at once. dead in one swing. u don´t want to take 1/3 of his health and him then recovering. that was exactly my point. it´s not about dps. that´s a pve thing
While tanking instances i don’t want that boom. While fighting warriors i don’t want that boom. While fighting rogues or fury warriors i was that boom
Just tested ingame and yep, it does work pretty different as Pallytime explains on his video. Pretty cool to be up to 10 secs without autoattack…

you still have that regardless even now, but after you reck bomb if he’s still alive then you definitely don’t want your swings being reset cause that means a large part of your dps is gone.
In any case how does it make sense it works differently based on server location? I’ve never heard of anything like that. US has it working properly and EU is bugged and should be fixed asap. It’s as simple as that.
edit: I was hoping they would fix it with last night maintenance but of course not… 
I dont think they will do something about this. Reckoning is dead sadly for us playing on the EU-servers
