Recrafting gems?

Hello

I asked a JC with gem spec if Epic gems can be recrafted to rank3 if a work order gave rank2.
And he said yes.

Now i’ve made Resplendent Illimited Diamond with public work order system and got rank2.
I contacted the crafter and he/she was up for recrafting it to rank3, relying on inspire proc.
But I cant put Resplendent Illimited Diamond in recrafting window. It’s not a option and all.

Is it a bug or cant epic gems be recrafted?

PS i have not inserted the gem yet.

Hello, JC here. I am still learning the system but I can say that you cannot recraft gems.

To craft the primary stat+secondary stat epic gems to R3, you either :

1. Need to find a JC that would guarantee R3 with a really good talent tree and the use of Illustrious Insight (he would make you pay a lot for that, knowing the fact that you need a diamond R3 also, this method is really expensive)
2. Find yourself a JC with high Inspiration (personnally I have 37%) and recraft multiple time the gem with diamond R1/R2. This is defintly cheaper than first method.

Can epic gems be recrafted while the workorder is in progress? (Before pressing complete order)
Thinking to pay extra and the JC will recraft with personal materials, or trading recraft materials. To make it rank3.
Is that possible?
