I copied the recruit a friend link. made an account, payed one month subscription.

Usually with Recruit A Friend when the account link doesn’t work it means the account you’re trying to link is not eligible, for example it could be that it’s too old to be recruited. Only recently created accounts (up to 7 days old) can be recruited using a Friend Link, or accounts that have been inactive for 2+ years. If your account doesn’t meet these criteria then you won’t be linked.

What exactly happens when you use the link from the new Blizzard account?
nothing happend. i already had a chat with support they too do not know why it went wrong. now i should be able to recruit 2 more friends this month but even that is not possible. if i try to add one it said limit reached while i have 2/4 this month. so short version RAF is bad and doesn’t work.
recruit up to 10 friends = not possible.
4 friends each month = also not possible
linking failed RAF = also not possible
support does not have a clue because it’s a new system well done
