Im starting a fresh account and looking to be recruited. (I have +15 years exp, ranging from mythic raiding → glad arena).
Ill be subbing for more then 12 years.
You will be getting a whole bunch of rewards (mounts, pets, tabard, title, mogs and 5 months game time). After 12 months you will also be getting 1 month gametime every 3 months. First 12 months (5m gametime) is around 1300k gold that you are getting for recruiting.

If I may suggest, as a new player, your priority may be someone who will level a character with you and show you around at your pace.
I have no doubt people will find you.
If you look a few posts up to Vérún’s post, you will see your opposite: an example of a returning player who is already very skilled and experienced, and needs no mentoring at all.
So when you talk to people who may want to recruit you, ask about their playing hours and habits, and which parts of the game they do. If you are looking to learn from the start, someone who is a very good player but 10 times faster than you and who tends to play at different times may not be what you’re looking for. And do you have voice communications? Voice is a lot smoother than doing alot of typing.
As Vérún points out, the recruiter gets a lot of benefiits, and we do see people get recruited, they do get the promised gold and bags, but then essentially never see their recruiter again.
As a measure of value of gold, consider that a level 70 can earn 2,000 to 10,000 gold per hour, depending on the activity, 32-slot bags cost about 50 gold each now (recent price drop), and a month’s game time costs about 300,000 gold.

EU (Casual-Retail) more likely to be found on classic SOD right now and I am loving it.
Expires on 30/03/24 or after four people/Acc used it.
Take your pick gotta go fast? Try Retail, want to have more social and pvp interactions? Try SOD < slightly more active I heard or just go to normal Classic servers. Don’t forget to grab the MODs from curseforge and stuff to make your wow life easier!
I am basically a noob too… so just have fun check it out and choose which wow version suits you more. (To be fair I choose SOD cause my mod with classic gives me basically a "you stupid do this and then that and you will slowly get it "the rest is asking the random guy you meet on the way)
