Recurring 4GB update everyday

Greetings all!
Since Legion Remix release, i have been getting a nice 4 GB update daily. DAILY. I update the game, as it would finish the update, suddenly i have an error. Nice. It keeps doing this, i don’t have Midnight Alpha access so i know it’s not that. I didn’t move my files ever, i didn’t tamper with them, no anti-virus is blocking battlenet. I assume it’s a bug at this point. I contacted the support with no reply back. I’m writing this mainly to see if anyone else has this? Or knows what can i do?

Note: If i pause the download, i can play completely fine. However, now because of this bugged 4GB of a mess, i won’t know if the game actually has an update or not, since it will try force this “update” to go through before the actual current one.

Your Battle.net app is broken, YES, it doesn’t fix it by itself, you need to do it manually
or your SSD/drive is full/broken

You need to do only the Battle.net app part, but still recommend do 2.+3. of Deleting Cache in WoW
maybe do the 1.b , too
guide:

Thank you for the reply! I tried resetting Battlenet, fresh download all that. Located my files. Sadly it still seems broken:/ I deleted the cache as well, i feel pretty lost and idk how much longer can i play if the launcher keeps pushing this “update” instead of actual ones. I will have access to good internet at the very end of october only, so until then i can’t delete the game and redownload it since where i am currently, it barely goes above 1mbps lol:')

Also note: Scan and Repair DOES NOT work. It will get to 80%, then suddenly restart (??) and then it will proceed to keep doing this without ever finishing scanning. It gets itself in a loop.

For now how i play: I let the download get around 20 mb down, around there the game will tell me it’s playable. I pause this fake update, then log in and play.

so nice of you that you did read the text in the guide I write… /s
from the your reply, you didn’t even open the link

now I see that the issue is between keyboard and chair

I did open the link, i don’t understand this passive aggresive tone, it is uncalled for honestly. I am trying to fix my game, i did everything that was said in your guide. My battlened is fresh, i went in the cache and deleted the files that were said in the data cache too. Your guide is from 2022 as i see, maybe since then they changed a few files’s locations, i have no idea, or they simply messed files up when they released Legion Remix since it did introduce a bunch of bugs. I moved WoW’s folder as well to a different directory. I originally asked for help from WoW’s community because i need help, not to waste anyone’s time, i am saying that i feel lost with this issue because nothing seems working. I did also a check on my drive, which is in perfect condition so that can be ruled out as well.

literally doing full/true-clean reinstall of Battle-net will fix scan-loop, that is literally why I made that guide, so tell me, you wouldn’t be angry if someone is lying ?
Today I did myself full cache delete on WoW+Battle.net, guide is fully up to date

delete OneDrive, or any synchronization software with your appdata
turn off auto update in battle-net app settings
turn off sleep/hibernate in windows => restart pc
you can try deleting everything inside World of Warcraft\_retail_, except Interface + WTF folders => then Scan & repair
