Red Draenei Warlocks

Can we have Draenei Warlocks, that turn into those Red “Eredar” ones, if you choose that class, or just have it as a customization option like Undead Elves.

Velen disapproves this

We don’t even need red ones. Red ones are the really corrupted ones that hate all life. We could have just normal looking draenei warlocks. After we finished in warlords of draenor there was a number of sargerai draenei left there. They could easily make them flee Yrel like the maghar did and seek shelter and forgivness from their draenei brethren like the night elf mages did in cataclysm when they rejoined the night elves society.

They won’t be able to coexist with the Army of the Light. Such types would be treated no better than regular demons. And this means execution on sight.

Just think of all the RP hooks!

They could make it, so they turn Horde, or something, if they choose Warlock, and write some story reasoning. It’s not impossible to make something up, that makes sense in a Fantasy Game =)
They could do something similar with Undead: Give undeads the druid class, but they turn alliance and help the Nightelves after having destroyed them with Sylvanas. The possibilities are infinite. Less options = less fun.

I like this idea. Would be nice to have red skin orcs from the hellfire pininsula as well

Probably wont happen, but would look sick imo

While I would only ever try Warlock as an Eredar… I would love red Draenei skins simply because I love the color red

Edit: Also, this would allow for more RP options that don’t have to rely on “imagination”.

Edit 2:

Let’s be honest, I would 100% play horde more regularly, if Horde had Warlock Draenei

I can see it happening… Everyone knows Velen is a soft touch…

With no Burning Legion some of the Man’ari have suddenly found themselves without purpose and leadership. Desperate they seek guidance and forgiveness from the only person they know can absolve them of thier sins.

Velen being the leader he is would cautiously allow these corrupted brothers and sisters back into the fold, be it as prisoners or until they can prove their newfound regret…Together the Draenei and Man’ari can reclaim the name Eredar…

you do know that Man’ari are not Draenei right The draenei [ˈdɹænɑɪ] (meaning Exiled Ones in their own tongue) velen’s people took on this title because they had to flee their homeworld in a sense being exiled from it and their people the Eredar

The draenei refer to their corrupted brethren as man’ari (pronounced man-ah-ree)

Well…. void elves exist, and the wife of a Lightforged human Paladin at that.

Anyway, the only way I can see this somehow working is Draenei Demon hunters.

like i said their not Draenei their Man’ari learn the difference :stuck_out_tongue: really really really doubt velen would accept the Man’ari back into his ranks given all that has happen they’d only really be maybe welcomed into the horde but that is also doubtful

doesnot bode well with army of the light mantra

While Draenei Shadow Priests and Void Elven Warlocks roam free…
Life is not fair

Sounds like an interesting idea. Im all for adding more options, like the new Dark Ranger skin.
It makes sense that alliances would shift and races would learn new classes given how much **** has happened in this game.
As long as there is solid enough lore to support something then I say ‘go for it!’

But then again Id like to open up classes more anyways. Like having mechadruid gnomes/goblins for example…so they would use the same spells just understood that their powers came from technology and not Elune, Loas or Drust.
There is alot of stuff you could do in this game without breaking the Lore.

If we got Darkfallen on Alliance with no lore explanation, they might as well go all in on things like that for the additional customisations. While they would realistically not be a part of the Draenei, they do look cool and it’s easy to implement.

That sounds true, but you can also play high elf, and different elven races, if you choose a Blood Elf in-game though…
I’m also against putting new allied races in the game, because I think, it’s better, if the current ones are updated first. I could only imagine it working, if they started putting sub-families under one bigger category. That means, you choose troll, and then you can decide between dark spear, zandalari, etc. Or you choose orc, and can decide between different orc tribes like Maghar, or you choose undead, and then you can choose between lightforged, forsaken, etc. That’d also include putting dark iron dwarf, Wildhammer, etc. in the dwarf category, human/kultiran/gilnean in the human category, and so on, so there’s less core races in the game. I think that’d give them alot of new playable models to put in the game potentially without having big clutter.

For the that example in my thread, you would choose eredar, and then decide between draenei, Manhari (or whatever it’s called), and Lightforged. They should also completely remove racials, that give player power, and make them utility-based-only, so they don’t hurt the hardcore pvpers by making the races look less different from eachother

Would be awesome. Tyrant Velhari and that whole raid wing with red Draenei was Imo one of the most badass things in WoD.

Since the Legion is defeated and defunct (?), their members might as well re-unite with the Draenei.

They were the top dogs of the Legion, on par with the suposedly “loyal” Nathrezim, the brains and leaders of the operations… only Sargeras above them
And whats happened?
We removed Sargeras and the Man’ari leaders and council.
So all the underlings, warlords - all of them powerfull warlocks or demons themselves - now “free”
And not only free, but free with the Legion-tech and soldiers under their command, dimensional ships, like the Fel Hammer, soldiers and the whole enchilada!
Okay, there were friendly Man’ari (like the one in Dalaran sweres) and sure there are lots of them who possibly want to be “good guys” (even Demons had to be conditioned and educated to be good little Legion member - see Legion Archeology)
But most of them probably craved out their little kingdoms to rule, now the Boss is gone… would be foolish for them to crawl back to Valen’s hooves
But “reformed” Man’ari could work, there are tons of friendly Demons to begin with wandering around. But I doubt they would like to be with Valen or the others; own little sub-faction, like the Void Elves maybe with their own pocket dimesion or stronghold on another planet/edge of the Twisting Neither sounds more plausible
