Redesign 5ppl dungeons to allow full content and separate fastfood like chuncked runs

Once wonderful complex instances like UBRS, LBRS, BRD, Stratholme, Scholomance, became a sad joke due to “rend runs” “arena runs” “MC attunement only runs golem” and so on and so forth. Normal players don’t have the chance to experience the full instance content, to complete quests, to learn to play together and fine mechanics because they are mixed with higher levels, abusive rushing challenged people that trash entire content liek speedy gonzales. Allow them to play their mad max like style together with others like them, while the normal players can enjoy the content as it once was and made this game great. Instead they are rushed, kicked, abused, “you mad bro, dude, etc”. Same as AV sad joke of a so called pvp race while old battles and all players support, logistics behind the lines was lost and exchanged to click next rush through nonsense. Vanilla was special because of such traits and knowledge not because of what it became today. So at least for teh same fee we the simple naive game enjoying players allow us to play it right, while your F1 hellracers can have their own mad max like sessions but NOT mixed with innocents anymore.
I am playing this game since 2005, was never as bad as it is now. You destroyed OUR game, we the players made it Great. Think again and make it right and fair. Wish you all the best, you completely lost the right track.

That where the concept of the “megadungeon”comes in, but they are short lived in a world where m+ is a thing.

I completely agree that the dungeon finder is a complete hellscape and a cesspool, but saying they don’t have a chance is simply not true.
Make friends(you should have several after 20 years), join guilds, communities you name it.
There’s tons of options to see the content in the way that you would like to see it.

There is nothing Blizzard can do to keep people from rushing through dungeons, that simply wont change so you will have to adapt and find another way to play like you want to play.

And yes, that’s not how it should be, but it is how it is.

I would love follower mode with level scaling for those huge old instances (Or indeed all dungeons), so i could run them as they were intended, have time to see the sights or do optional stuff, players are in too much of a hurry to actually enjoy dungeons.

That being said, the “We’re only doing part of the dungeon” has been that way since Vanilla, having the group priest strong-arm the rest into doing rookery for a shot at their T0-shoulders for instance.

BRD in particular was always a partial run, because quite frankly, the place was too huge to do in one go (Respawn timers and all), with too many things in there: Jailbreak, black forge/anvil, MC attunement, Thorium brotherhood rep vendor, vault… And each in a different section of the city.

I feel that the megadungeon system is a great way to make more fleshed out instances and split them into several wings for M+, dungeons like Mechagon and Kara definitely have very different feeling and pacing between the upper and lower splits.

It would be even cooler if they sort of made a mini raid style dungeon and split that into maybe 3 wings for M+ instead of just an upper/lower style we have now. BRD as you mentioned could work like that, you have the entry/mine part, the rampart/military part, and the final “castle” royalty part of the dungeon, you could do something similar with a new dungeon and i think it would work very well.
