No more interaction with the legendaries
Not many ‘stealth’ abilities you’ll be able to use. You might be allowed to use a stealth ability, but no sap cause the target is in combat, you ain’t gonna pickpocket them, so that leaves ambush/ss and cheapshot. For sub at least i think it will be almost useless.
it makes me really sad. it was such a cool ability with so much depth before, and even just the basic gameplay with master assassin of timing it right to line up with your cds was super interesting. now it’s just your standard me press button me do damage ability. it’s not really any worse than the others, so it’s an okay ability i guess, but compared to before so much has been lost.
well it’s nothing now other than damage + an extra opener, which is damage.
it’s also interesting to see if the ability used is considered to come from stealth.
will shadowstrike teleport 25 yards?
with garrote with subterfuge do extra damage?
it will make it annoying to use, just like reprimand, in case you only map your ambush / ss / cheapshot to your stealth bar and it doesn’t switch to it.
that leaves us with flagellation, the most boring ability ever designed, basically more damage on finishers with some haste when you least need it, and SBS, the bleeding shuriken toss /poison knife , nerfed into obscurity
nope. behaves like in dance.
it doesn’t interact with garrote at all atm. doesn’t do extra damage, doesn’t silence, doesn’t prevent garrote’s cooldown and doesn’t use up the sepsis buff.
extra haste speeds up the rotation at least so it’s not all bad, also the visual is very cool. think it’ll be pretty nice for raiding especially.
sepsis, reprimand and flagellation are all on a similar tier for me i think. none of them are particularly interesting, but they’re ok buttons to press. guessing sepsis or reprimand will be the best in pvp, both help with burst.
they are all boring and in essence just a dps cooldown now.
so much dev time spent going back and forth with these just so they end up in this state.
