Redownload addons for prepatch and wotlk?

Anyone know if addons from BC need to be downloaded and configured anew if you start a new toon on prepatch / fresh server for wotlk?

prolly all you will have to do is update them and you are gucci, at least that’s what happened in tbc

Use WoWUp or the curseforge Alpha to update them automatically.

Almost every AddOn will be required after an update. You could do it via Wago / Wowup or Curseforge Client when published by their respective authors.
