Yeah I would not have bothered upgrading any of them this expansion, had I realised they were planning to neuter them :frowning:

WTF you talking about? I still use my looms for leveling! They have good stats!
Leveling is extremely fast anyway.

So if you get bored of wow after 10 years of playing you will ask for a refund after using it for 10 years? Or you will ask for your hours worth of labor to be payed?

The biggest problem with new Heirlooms is that those are really underwhelming especially if we compare the value before and now. I have Heirlooms for every possible slot but the upgrades vary a lot. When I leveled my first alt after pre-patch to level 50 I did not even notice when my set bonuses dropped off. The impact was so small that wearing any pieces was kind of what ever.

I understand developers goal with these set bonuses but imo the implementation is a little bit lazy, good idea, but not there yet. I would say that upgrading Heirlooms at this point is only wasting your money, that amount of gold does not give you enough counterpart tbh. I do not want refund but I would like to see better Heirloom system in general. I am only a little bit bitter because I spend a lot of time to collect all the rings from the Shipyard, for nothingā€¦

Ten years ago i bought 50inch flat tv, now ten years later it is still 50ich flat tv and not portable transistor.
Second,not all players bought looms 10years ago ,some bought like 2-3 year ago.

Unless you bought and upgraded the heirlooms a day or two before prepatch you are in absolutely no position to just ask for a refund.

2 to 3 years is still a massive chunk of time to reap the benefits of those items.

Money couldā€™ve gone to a insta lvl 50/60 boost for most in this situation

First of all ,you could not upgrade looms from 110- 120 thru good chunk of BFA.
Second,they announced nerf few months ago with alpha testing,so people nuked a lot of gold to bump 110-120 without knowing nerf will be applied.

NO refunds!

P.S. I donā€™t really care if Blizz refunds or not. But this is like any other gear we bought and used at the time, it got obsolete but it was useful for its time.

Can I refund my Rock Steady Treads because I made them in Wrath and now I dont need em.

It does update eventually but itā€™s not fast. Mine are a mix of old and new atm although Iā€™m not sure Iā€™ve logged on them all yet.
