So I’m awaiting a DF refund and am curious how it will play out. Ticket is stuck at answered and I suppose action won’t be taken until refund is actually through. (don’t feel right to mark it resolved before it actually is)
I do expect character who have visited DF to be locked. And I do assume if I purchase DF again it will become unlocked.
However. I have sent DF loot to alts in mail, doing my best to return it to DF played character. Some stuff not belonging to DF have been mixed in and I hope that won’t count as DF loot.
Also pets and other accountwide things like achievements. I fear many or all of my characters will be locked.
Is there any insight on how this all will play out?

why should you be able to refund?
If you are asking why I have requested refund that’s a topic in itself and I’ll rather not go there, but let me just say I find that a zero should be subtracted from it’s price to mirror it’s value.

im asking why you should be owed a refund? what went wrong ?
I did not come here to be negative or bash the game. I know they are trying and it is hard times. It’s been years since I last played retail and the status is shocking.
In other words. I’m not gonna make a list of everything that’s broken. I would do that if it was actually ever addressed.

I didnt think Blizz gave refunds if you had logged in and started the expansion and even sent items to other characters, as you have used the product. Only refund usually if you never logged on.
If you do get your refund well done and hope you enjoy your next game.

This is false. You should review their refund policy.
Any policy can be handwaved by the EU law though. You have 14 days to get a refund, period. Whatever contract you signed is nill if it has any clause about you giving up your refund rights.
The only way you can’t get a refund, is if the item purchased is a consumable and is not usable anymore. But WoW is a service, and as such, can be refunded anytime in this 14 days timeframe for any reason the consumer sees fit.
After this delay, the seller is in his right to refuse to refund if the reason isn’t a valid one.

30 days in my country, not part of EU. I wonder if these laws apply in the shadows.
Why? I dont want a refund. Just wished you luck in getting yours.
Nice, where are you from ?
This is why Steam took upon themselves to make their 14 days refund policy, but in fact in this contract, the 2 hours gameplay timeframe is not valid according to EU law and can be handwaved. You could play 10 hours, as long as you haven’t purchased the game more than 13 days ago, it’s fine, you should get a refund.
Unfortunately for british people, this law doesn’t concern them anymore since they left EU, and some friends of mine got **cked trying to use that law haha
How this apply to digital product like a game or movie???
Digital products are services
Well actually it depends on how they deliver it
But usually, buying a game online, and asking for a refund, the deliverer can remove the key from your account and give it to another customer, it’s reusable, and they lose nothing by refunding, the product isn’t damaged or unusable by someone else, so the law applies just as for a service or a refundable product.
Even when you buy clothes, you have 14 days to be fully refund without any particular reason, as long as the product isn’t damaged
i really doubt it will happen. post on your level 70 bro insteade of hiding on classic alt D:
They are not services.
The only thing that is essentially the service you’re getting is the servers yourj able to play on.
How are we supposed to know if we want a refund or not without testing the product?

Sorry I might have edited my post before you answer, I meant to say they are treated as services
I got a refund twice, because I was irritated by their way too overexaggerated political agenda, but then decided to actually buy it, and it’s not as bad as I thought. It’s actually really fun
