Regarding effect-visibility and graphics settings

Hello,

I play with relatively low graphics settings. Comparing my ingame-experience with online streams, I notice that I can’t (or can hardly) see several ground effects in the game, for example:

  • the vortexes in the courtyard of Waycrest when the miniboss casts the thorn spikes. I see those only after they hit me, but not the swirly animation I know from stream watching
  • at final boss in Waycrest, the small glowing patches where one picks up the torches to burn the add’s corpses. They are almost impossible to detect for me, again in contrast to the bright visual effect seen in online streams.

Which graphic setting needs tweaking to resolve this for me? I’m a bit reluctant to try-and-error this, because of the number of possible combinations to try, and the time spent for each test.

Projected Textures. + Particle Density at higher level.

Heya,

You can view what the different options do in the Graphics options, if you hoover over it with your mouse. As Essential mentioned though, adjusting the Projected Textures and Particle Density will most likely give you the outcome you are looking for.
