Regrettable names

Seeing all you guys said what your was. I will say what mine was. i rolled a hunter called Dirtyba**s. I noticed I was a enemy magnet wit that name in BG’s. When i mained that hunter I had to change name because nobody took me seriously! Rightly so LOL

quite clever actually. very subtle .

Well there’s this one.
I also have a monk named “Dishface” but that one I’m actually real fond of.

My Tauren druid main from vanilla. I named him Kovalsky.

Briefly had a priest called Fiddykiddler

Thats worse than mine! glad it was brief eh

one of my main character’s name translates to “for begetting children”

Thankfully nobody has ever said anything about it and even if somebody does eventually, I’m not changing it now.

“Titianstar” has been the worst name I ever gave to a character (a Blood Elf Demon Hunter). I was desperate to keep it Amberstar but that was taken - so I looked up synonyms for “orange” online and found “titian”.

This character used to be named “Imaqt”…

Harrypötter.

My very first character.
Undead Warlock with a mohawk.
And it was on an rp server

I was young…

I liked dragons when i was young and playing runescape, dragon was taken… Well Dutchdragon then… Also taken.

Years later i found out “Dutchdrag” does not make people assume you like dragons.

I wonder why :joy:

Will get banned if I mention one of my first tons- it lasted 2 days before a GM told me to change it or face an account ban

Tirade

It was supposed to be Tyrande but I was new to English

Only name I’m not happy with I guess is my warrior cause he sounds more like an orc than a worgen :weary:

Before vulperas were a thing I had a red panda with a tail named Nofoxgiven.
Had a tauren monk called Misteaks also.

Well, the worst I still have tucked away somewhere would be my disease wolf called Herr Herpes.

I still have one called Styrka, that means strength in my language. Not that bad. But later I found out it means laundry in Russian…

Hehe alot of people get away with names in native languages, blizz just dont catch it unless someone reports it with actual explanation.

I had some character names related to some of the people in the norwegian black metal scene, per example the infamous “Vargvikernes” - A person with crazy views on alot of things, but also a musical genious. To my defense im into that kind of music and that was the reason for the name.
