For the last few days I have been getting regularly disconnected with the error WOW51900319. Normally I can reconnect straightaway.
Sometimes I get it very regularly - like every 30-60 seconds for five minutes. Other times I can play for 45-60 minutes without issue.
I have tried: turning off addons, uninstalling addon loader, removing cache/wtf folders, scan+repair via bnet launcher, reinstalling game, checking all drivers are up to date, basically everything I can think of.
I have not put a ticket in yet because in my experiences responses are normally not helpful and will be “check the forums” or in this case likely “check w/ your ISP”. But I played for years without issue until this last week.
I just wondered if anyone else had any suggestions before I give up entirely? TIA!
EDIT: For anyone that finds this in the future. A few days after my post, when I logged in to play, there was a game update and that seemed to initially fixed the issue. I was able to play for a few days without any disconnects. BUT after the weekly maintenance today, the game now lags so much its basically unplayable (although it doesnt disconnect at least)
I started getting dcs early Jan, fixed it by capping my frames but now some mobs/npcs and occasional players I run into have a weird thing where they like glitch a foot ahead, urs similar or a different kind of lag?
i cant get into my demon hunter keeps disconnecting me but i can get into my other characters i have done the resetting of interface and repair item but i still get kicked out of my demon hunter i have also uninstalled and reinstalled my game same problem still
This has just started happening to me today. It’s caused me to die a few times in Delves/Dungeons, even causing a wipe in one dungeon. Game will be fine for a while then randomly DC me, kicking me to the login screen with the error and the Reconnect button.
It will always immediately let me reconnect. Like the original poster the time between DC’s varies. I played for 3-4 hours this afternoon with no DC, then I’ve had 6 DC’s this evening shortest gap between them I’d say about 20mins, longest about an hour.
My internet has remained up the entire time, I was even on voice chat for two of the DC’s in Discord so I know I didn’t drop my connection or get robo voice aka lag(and I’ve checked my router logs for the evening and my connection hasn’t dropped at any point). I’ve tried changing connection pathing with different VPN servers, even running without my VPN and restarting my router but it still happens. Certainly feels like it’s something on Blizzard’s end.
This is continuing to happen and continuing to be unpredictable. Yesterday I had 3 DC’s in quick succession in mid afternoon server time and then none for the rest of the day. Today I’ve been playing for an hour and the game has disconnected me 5 times so far. So it doesn’t seem to be an issue related to peak hours.
So far it has happened quite often whilst crafting, or in particular closing the crafting window(3 dc’s have been when I closed the crafting window after either crafting or spending knowledge points). It has happened 4 times in Delves, once in Dungeons. The others have all been out in the world in different locations with different things, typically when interacting with an object or NPC.
Edit: I had a theory that the DC’s were only happening in TWW areas, but as of a few minutes ago I just had my first DC in a non TWW area(whilst leveling on an alt in the Tyr Hold area of Thaldraszus).
same problem, started with Season 2 - same build same connection and all started with 11.1 but i cant find a solution, someone say is windows 24h2 the problem… but in my case this happens only with WoW.
