The change Blizzard made moving Blue Drake from EoE to a reward from completing Oculus in RFD is insane. I have done over 1200 ques the past 4 months now on 6 different characters and have gotten Oculus 4 times. This should be changed to also reward players that chooses Oculus. Its more rare to get Oculus as a Random Dungeon then actually getting the mount. It is hard when you have collectors that wants the mount and not only for people that stumbles upon the reward.
You could do the normal version if it drops there (I had about 10 runs, not seen it).
As an 80, you still have like 10 dungeons, but I got Oculus quite a few times.
People are leaving Oculus as soon as they enter, so I assume this is an attempt.
Not that it’s a hard dungeon or anything.
And once you have the drake, what else.
I’d keep it in both versions. Once Cataclysm drops, they’ll have to revert it, or change again to drop from the last boss or something. Which might be a challenge to solo later as well.
The problem is that is has to be Random, so getting Oculus is harder than getting the mount. I wouldnt mind if the drop chance was lower if they moved the mount to spesific, atleast I could do it on all my characters once a day. But right now I am leaving the dung if it isnt Oculus on 6 characters.
Reins of the Blue Drake: This mount will once again be available from defeating 10-player Malygos without needing to use the Dungeon Finder. The Reins of the Azure Drake will only be available on 25-player Malygos.
