Why is there no option to decline a Gift on Battlenet?
I had decided to not get The War Within until next season for several reasons.
A friend who was bored and don’t usually want to play retail got curious about the Delves and Dark Ranger hero talents.
He hate playing alone so he gifted me the expansion even though I had repeatedly said I am not getting it and that I am taking a break.
I know it was kind of him to gift me the expansion and I am not mad at him for it.
But I wanted to decline it because I don’t want the expectation of me playing a game now that I’m starting to study and I don’t really want to pay a sub when I won’t play much.
But naturally there is no decline button…
Steam has this option to decline a gift so the gifter gets their money back, so why is this not an option on battlenet?
I had no option but to click accept and now I feel like I have to play WoW.
How hard can it be to implement an option to decline?
I probably won’t after my subscription ends on saturday.
Except trust and goodwill.
But in the end my issue is that there is no option to decline gifts on battlenet.
They have the option to give gifts so it feels like having the option to decline a gift is such a basic feature.
This would be an even greater issue in poor countries.
If you accidentally gift to the wrong account you can’t decline it and redo it.
My issue is that there is no option to decline gifts.
What if I had ordered the Collectors edition and was waiting for it to arrive so I could upgrade my account?
It’s such a basic feature and I don’t understand why they don’t have it.
