Release Zul'Gurub in Phase 2

BGs will come waaay sooner. I think honor > bg update was within 1 month of each other, so we will get bgs mid decemeber. Maybe even sooner if people keep complaning

No I’m not bored and I love classic. I’m not complaining here. All I’m saying is that phase 2 with only world PvP and world bosses, doesn’t seem to be something very exciting for a 3 month period. I’m sure farming honor, MC and Onyxia will keep me happy and busy.

But what about people on PvE Servers? there will be not much except a few occasional X-Roads zergs and maybe if they get lucky they will be farming gold pearls in Azshara while Azuregos spans so they can at least get killed by a world boss once. But how often does this happen?

My only concern is that people could lose interest because there ins’t much in phase 2 and that’s why I suggested to bring out ZG. I love ZG and I believe that this raid deserves an early release because the gear lvl is quite low in comparison with BWL. most people ain’t playing classic for the first time. On my server which isn’t one of the highly populated Onyxia and MC are already being cleared by several 25 man raids on a regular basis. I don’t think that a shoulder enchantment will be enough motivation to get exalted with the Zandalari for people in full t2. If you think there are better options than ZG out there for phase 2 I’m all for it!

This is not retail. You can just not play without consequences. The game doesn’t have to force you into subscription and time gated progression.

As I’m on a PvE realm I still have things to do made by myself. Releasing ZG such early would undermine a lot of MC loot… I would say I could stop doing MC and just get gear from ZG with the gear I already got. Plus BWL with ZG gear ? That will be speed running from start.

Do note that there can be short period between P2 and P3.
