Religion diversity in WoW

I think from what I know alcohol is banned in Islam, but not all muslim countries follow this rule as they don’t like to mix culture and religion

So you have Balkan and Turkish Muslims, along with some North Africans who drink alcohol and practice Islam. It’s a bit complicated I guess.

It is up to interpretation, really
The Holy Quran in several verses forbids intoxicants because one is not meant to harm oneself in any way or form. There are verses in the Quran that forbid Muslims to pray under the influence of any intoxicant
Thus, for many - mostly usually many, - alcohol is considered haram
But drinking alcohol is not necessarily means intoxication
It is really depends of the interpretation, the community and the given area

Jaarl Haakon the Danish King was race and gender swapped for “Diversity and Representation” in Netflix Vikings Valhalla.
King Henry VIII race swapped for “Diversity and Representation”
Queen Ann Boleynm as well as Achilles in Fall of Troy.

It happens all the time so there is relevance to what you say.

Hahaha u mad?

race swaps is an ongoing practice now. just because you did not notice does not mean it is not happening. Its like thinking nobody eats at McDonalds just because you don’t and your don’t know anybody that does eat at McDonalds.

Why delete your post?
You were finally being honest about trolling. You put the South Park clip of Danes using fundraising to raise an anti troll building on the internet.

How quickly it devolved when being called out about your individual problem with Christianity. Why bring real world hostility into a game?
People should just enjoy WoW.

I learnt late in life now to not feed the troll

You posted a thread about Religion diversity in WoW.
I was one of the people that responded about the different things that the races in the WoW universe worship. You were advocating for Islam and Judaism in WoW.

But yet after having all of your points debunked you go on to call people b1gots and trolls.
Sigh.

  1. You haven’t debunked anything
  2. You’re mad, and you lost. People want diversity, not tyranny, so get with the times.
  3. Keep writing paragraphs, it amuses me

You claimed that having churches or priests makes it Christian. Your points thoroughly debunked. As the Priests and Churches of within the World of Warcraft are removed from Christianity.
You claimed that Paladin were akin to the Christian Crusades that ended 800 years ago. But the Paladin class or more specifically the races that has access to it. Have their own power sources and different in every way from the Christian Crusades.

You claim that people want diversity but you seem to be the only person calling for Islam and Judaism in the World of Warcraft. Where are the Jews and Muslims pushing for this?
There are several inspirations from real world religions that has nothing to do with Christianity. Which you ignored. Even though you bring a false title “Religion Diversity in WoW” only to focus on Christianity.

You claim I am wrong but have not demonstrates or proven how and where I am wrong.

You need to prove, how you are right. I don’t need to prove how you are wrong. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

this is a fictional game, with a bunch of fictional religions that don’t reflect the real world.

People here are just coping about being islamophobic. I explained it very well various times, and haven’t been disproven yet. On the other hand, you people just make statements and ask me to disprove without having proven anything first

These things are in every fantasy game, crusaders, paladins. People love it. If you have such bigot problems, maybe you should chill out a little.

I think it would be good, if horde paladins have different talent names, so its religion is neutral at least on horde, because it would make sense in the lore without changing anything

That does not make any sense. The accuser has to prove their allegation valid.

The OP can not help himself. He/She sees Christianity everywhere in WoW.

Words actually have meaning. A phobia means one has an irrational fear of or extreme aversion to something.
So prove where anywhere in this thread people have an irrational fear of or extreme aversion to Islam.

I also get this vibe from the comments in my thread. I respect islam a lot. I know many muslims, that are really cool. Also one of the coolest mma fighters is muslim (Khabib), and he said he just “trains, and then prays to allah”, and I think it’s really inspiring to see people like that, who have full devotion to something. Could definitely need some of that in western culture too, that’s why mixing cultures and cherry picking the best things with a wide diversity is very desirable

Well no, I just think, that the priest and paladin class seem to be exclusively christian, that’s all there is to it, and I think it’s bad for player growth, since some might like paladins with golden armor, but then have moral internal conflict, when they read the talents

If that is the case then do explain what is Christian about Queen Talanji and the Zandalari Paladin?
Sunwalkers - Sun worship religions are not Christian.
Bloodknights - The Blood Elves are a race of magic junkies. They kidnapped the Naaru called Muuru and forceful drained him of his essence. Like a race of vampires or something.
The Naaru also have their Priests and Paladin.
What is Christian about Dwarf Priests and Paladin. or is it only human Priest and Paladin.

In the real world there are many Priests and Priest like figures that are not Christian. How would your idea work anyway? Say for example should Blizzard add Rabbi and Imaam’s to WoW.
Might get an account ban for a hate crime or something. Healers tend to die first in pvp and there are often Priests around.

Could just keep real world stuff out of WoW.

My primary suggestion would be “neutralizing” the term priest on horde as sun worshippers with the Tauren and the Bloodelves, so there is an option to not be christian, if you don’t wanna be as a muslim/jewish person for example, so they can play those classes without any moral conflict, if they have one (ofc not all have one). Else, yeah, it would also make sense to toggle priests to be imaams/Rabbi’s, but this should be done with much care
