Apart from the snakepeople with their snake goddess (I have no idea what that would be inspired by), I don’t really remember much religion there. The vulpera quests mostly seem to be about getting by and getting revenge.
Don’t you see how racist it is to paint them as caricatures with those primitive tribes in Vol’Dun while the alliance are american christians invading their land and killing them to help the Vulpera? Blizzard doesn’t have their priorities straight, when it comes to inclusion and diversity. They only care about the current trend and hype in california, not about actual tolerance/respect. They are so behind, it’s insane. They make nobody happy like that. They are too lazy to come up with their own symbols and cultures, and steal them from other civilizations to create caricatures of primtive npcs, that we kill as players. But I mean at least they removed male/female from character creation instead just introducing pronouns like other devs, such as new world.

It’s North African my friend, with some Gypsy elements as well.
But mostly North African. The fennec Fox is the National animal of Algeria. And Vol’dun does look like the Sahara desert.
Of course any person outside North Africa that lives in a desert can relate too.
My ancestors were nomadic as well, and mainly relied on their resourcefulness, desert, and sea to survive. Especially they made use of the sea. Pearls provided much of Eastern Arabia’s wealth before oil. So my ancestors learned how to sail and dive the sea, hold their breath, etc.
Even tho my culture wasn’t used for the Vulpera, I can still relate. If that makes sense

No it’s not. Initially humans in azeroth were almost exclusively shown as white with crusaders and symbols like the christian cross for abilities and typical christian words. Yeah, totally no real world culture. Blizzard tied them together, because they have 0 creativity, not me. On the other hand, the very primitive violent cultures in wow have obvious influences from other cultures, and that’s just simply racist, and their virtue signaling now is meaningless, if they tolerate this symbolism in their game

Most fantasty games appear to have some form of church, as they are created by Christians/European descent people. Now that I think about it, even. The movie Shrek has a church

I don’t care, if a movie is christian. The problem is very complex with wow, because wow has other cultures too, but they are usually very primitive, caricaturitive, or they get painted in a negative way. If wow was just a medieval world like in the witcher 3 it would be a different story, and I wouldn’t even care half as much. But the witcher 3 at least put the effort into their story to make everything fictive while wow steals/appropriates from other cultures and paints them negatively

Priests were not enough to hold back the Horde. Hence the Order of the Silver hand was created. The prowess of the Warrior with the power of the Light.
Alliance had Paladin and Horde had Shaman initially.
The Alliance has often been led by the Light. Anduin Wrynn even resurrected his father Varian long before his perma-death by Guldan.
The thread have pointed at several times the differences and nuances of WoW religions. But you are still consistent in your crusade against Christianity.
