And how it was banned to increase time wasted per char/player??
Please un’‘ban’’ it and let us make and join groups quickly according to custom parameters, eg, accepting a daily quest/calling, or seeing a rare. etc

they ban everything that is fun and lets you skip their boring content while they dont ban addons such raider IO that create toxocity…
cos its so difficult to use the lfg tool for a wq.
Same amount of typing.
Why was this addon banned, i wonder.
Oqueue was one of the worst sides of MoP
It wasn’t banned, it still exists. It just works differently now. Blizz removed the ability for the API to copy and paste into the search boxes in the LFG tool practically disabling the auto join feature so all they did was stop you auto queueing and joining groups with an addon because it was heavy stress on the servers.
It’s called “World Quests List” and when you now approach a world quest, a box pops up and you type in a number that it tells you to type, and it creates a group or joins you with a group that already exists, it just takes a bit more work on the players part
Oh yeah, it was causing lag like crazy.
It was banned for a bloody good reason.
tbh, im glad its gone. stopped counting how many times i actually needed help with a quest and someone just used it to hop shards or realms.
having the little eye in the quest list thingy for wqs should be standard and not only for elites/worldbosses though.
thats the whole point of it. making things EASIER for players. not harder.
ppl arent making groups for rares, quests etc.
ROFLMAO bfa world lag, shadowlands world lag. nothing to do with THAT addon. stop copy pasting their ‘‘pr’’ excuses.
Those times, correct.
Doesnt mean it didnt cause lag back in Legion.
Ah, yeah… the PR excuse, when I was there when it was happening - and how it mysteriously vanished when they banned the AddOn.
no. you dont know that it caused lag. on the contrary we have facts (bfa and shadowlands expansion without such addon, full of world lag and server instability, especially on launch and first week of patch when players werent unsubbed). proving it didnt cause lag you repeat blizzard pr statements when in fact in an intervirew a designer said they removed it to make ‘‘wq meaningful’’ (LOL)
Then neither do you know the opposite.
WoD also had extreme server instability, and the AddOn didnt exist then either.
Find me that quote then, and prove it.
Because I remember the lag during that AddOn period - and how it stopped happening after they disabled it.
They made their own.
