Yea, i also hope for something better, cuz those coruptions are realy bad, but i dont see it to be somehow balanced, but its gona be hell of a fun if your class is the OP one.
Usually during pre-patch because they are disabling systems they nerf everything to compansate for the power loss , so everyone is OP.
We talk about Pvp mostly, so idk how u nerf something there without making something else broken… Its gona be crazy OP fest, cuz some classes scale better than others with borrowed powers, also scaling and lvl/gear squish… Go look YT, u gotta see yourself
The only good thing is, that the Thing from Beyond will be no more. I will miss that visual purple corruption effect though, because it made my transmog even better. I hope there will be an option to have these visual corruption effects again for the people who liked them.
I will be doing the kill 25 quest again for some transmorg tokens

This is gonna be hell on everyone who needed to stack Expedient to be halfway playable though. Like hardcasting rangeds. 2s casts, here we go…
Or Rets with Ineffable Truth making them sometimes feel like it’s fun to just press buttons not waiting for Crusader Strike CD for that BIG BAD SPENDER because everything else apart from Wake does nothing.
I do wonder how tanks will play though. No more TDs = no more tanks outdamaging DPS without massive gear advantage. Imagine this: tanks actually having to generate threat with their abilities instead of pumping damage numbers!

I’ll feel like I can actually play the game and not have all my characters:
a) look like Shadow Priests in Shadowform
b) not be punished by RNG, with when the eye ball circle appears and messes me up
At last this mediocre, the worst system added in the history of this game will be gone.
I won’t miss this overpowered hot garbage trash of a system. Dumb corruption is doing all the damage instead of your class/spec, nice addition there. not.
