Reminder that Void Elves should get normal hair in 9.1

agree
that and the void elf heritage"chest" does not have a belf version
because on male void elf the appearence is same as hide chest lol

This person, really has the idea here. The entire concept of Void elves is the most ridiculous addition to the game ever.

Blood elves are only jealous we are cooler than them. Nobody wants to play blonde Barbie Princesses anymore.

Gothy ladies with shadow magic and Black hair is where it’s at!

The whole definition of Emo is not to be Cool… .lol

Except 99% of the horde ;).

tbh, the only thing I prefer about Void Elves is that Sick DPS racial they have.

And… that’s a good thing? The Horde is going downhill lol

Blue hair color is pretty nice tho if you get it right…

it does look nice on you, but on the blue skin it looks horrible (in my opinion)

I dunno man. If Blizz signed a contract that established clear and concrete boundaries between the two races and that any breach of said contract would result in the immediate termination of the company I feel that I could let this slide.

Problem is I don’t see em ever doing something like that so I feel like I’m forced into taking the radical approach here.

Sad really

Well maybe if we can deter Blizzard from heading into a the Cosmic War between Light and Void which nobody asked for OR cares about, and starts to focus upon the Azeroth and and the trouble within, which is arguably what World of Warcraft is about. Then maybe they’ll get around to adding High Elves as a Playable race for both Factions.

Agreed with this.

Except… Silvermoon city itself. Which is where I guess you’ll be carrying out your “fantasies”.

True to an extent, but as we all know Blizzard tends to funnel players into the “new” place in every expansion. So even if you take the occasional detour into some old location, you’ll still be spending 90% of your time in a more generic one if you want to actually take part in the current game.

Fair enough. But if Blizzard wanted you to be doing it now. They would have given it, to you already. If I were you’d I’d be pushing for Content that supports the addition of a High Elf Race.

Don’t be so so sure, tbh. Not too long ago, blue eyes and normal skin tones seemed like an impossibility. Frankly, it’s really strange that they neglected the hair.

They won’t. Alliance is a dead faction.

It’s all right, I guess. I think the one defining feature about the Void Elves that I like is the face option with the lipstick. But in terms of hair options, they all look so depressing to me. Even the grey/silver option looks really boring, just soulless.

I’m all for turning into a tentacled freakshow when I’m in combat, but when I’m just idling about in town, I think it’s fair if I expect to be able to look nice. We even have a barbershop that let’s you change your sex, so I don’t see why they couldn’t dye the hair blonde, black or silver.

What does that have to do with anything.

2006 Alliance: Waaaah Horde got Blood elves, please Blizzard give us

2021 Alliance: Waaaah Horde got Blood elves, please Blizzard give us

In between (2007-2020): Let me guess:  blood elves

Maybe if they focused on doing Mythic raids instead of crying they could accomplish something good in the game.

Well, you accused us of crying and being pathetic over on the Alliance. I think your posts fit both of these accusations.

Your idea of fun is Mythic Raids? Ok…

I can imagine you both having blond hair with these responds. Ok, fine just keep those requests for Blood elves on Alliance. :smirk:

Imma find the exit door myself thx.

as long as proper high elves are not introduced, pretending to be a high elf while playing a VE is essentially like pretending to be a troll while playing a nightborne.
the racials are void centered, the voice effects are void corrupted, the silly/flirty emotes are void centered.
at least you can cover your hair with a helmet, but in no way you can bypass the voice and racials breaking the illusion.
you can’t even play a paladin, a trope high elf class.

Speaking as someone from a RP server, we as role players Never use our fighting abilities while Roleplay. That’s something you do when you gear your character OOC.

So one can easily Roleplay a High elf, and in fact there are guilds like Azure Dawn that does it wonderfully. They also accept Void elves (blue skin) into their ranks, but in small numbers.

Not exactly. Paladin is more a Blood elf thing as the blood elves started it before the High elves did. The high elves we have today who can be Paladins learned it from Humans, and they are a very few bunch unlike Rangers and Mages which is more popular of the race.

I’m not a roleplayer, but doesn’t it ever happen to roleplay a mission when you have to fight some mobs? or just hunt rabbits to collect meat to cook a stew in the woods?
or defend the honour of a damsel with a duel?
wouldn’t turning blue and sprouting tentacles be immersion breaking?.

I’m not saying all HE are pallys, just that they have a good representation of pallys among them, like arathor, exactly due to their human mingling.
