It probably can, just like the Halloween one. My bags were happy to get one more free space, as I deleted my actual hearthstone. My male nelf frost DK looks especially funny doing the dance while hearthing away.

Also very stylish way for paladins to do the good old bubble and hs! 
Everytime you talk to an innkeeper without the true hearthstone in your bag, they give you a new one. Even if you mainly rely on one of the toys.
Master race… can stop using halloween one now
