Removal of Seals in wrath

Alliance got SoM in 2008 with the launch of wrath and SoM/SoB got removed in patch 3.2.
Point is, how will this affect retri dps in Wotlk now that its removed instantly due to 3.4.0 which im guessing is built on 3.3.5.

Gotta admit that im clueless, and im wondering if someone can explain to me what this change with seal removal does, i know they’re not gonna let us have SoM / SoB anyway, just curious if its a huge dps loss, im hearing different things.

Log PTR and see if its still there

It’s seal of vengeance and seal of corruption in WotLK.

Seal of blood and seal of the a martyr aren’t a thing. They’ve been combined with the original vengeance/corruption to make 1 seal that does a bit of both to flatten our damage rather than the bursty nature of early WotLK.

Yes, i know we’re using vengeance/corruption on single target, but martyr/blood were significantly better in pre 3.2 wotlk than vengeance was, right?

Probably, I honestly don’t remember the specifics.

They’re gone in the patch we’re getting though.

For PvP you’ll most likely be running SoR for the more bursty nature.

Paladins did pretty crazy burst damage early in wrath, particularly in pvp people were having a fit. And well obviously also having a fit about death knights but that’s aside the topic.
The paladin will be a good option for tanking healing and even dps throughout the expansion. Don’t worry.

Rets still do good damage, its just more flattened rather than being frontloaded burst.

Yeah it’s a lot more healthy for the game
