As title states, please remove the chat from Edit mode and let me change the chat the old way, it does NOT work with Edit mode, due to how stupidly limited and simplistic it is.

Seconding this. There doesn’t seem to be any way to change the size of the chat box.
This is an accessibility issue as those of us that need larger fonts need a larger chat box to be able to read chat without constant scrolling
EDIT: Okay worked that out as the little resize corner ‘arrow’ appears in edit mode, – if I squint really hard at the screen - not all of us have 20/20 vision, please make it more obvious when the chat box is highlighted by the light blue edit overlay.

Agreed. Also, it is hard to see EXACLY where you are putting your chat box in edit mode, and since I have OCD some of the UI changes that came today, made me want to just quit wow alltogether, since I can’t see past these annoyances.

Also: When doing some minigames in Zereth Mortis, depending on your UI, the chat overlays where I need to click. So I have to go into the edit mode, but the edit mode option is greyed out in this mode, so you have to search for the chat command (/script ShowUIPanel(EditModeManagerFrame)) to enter the mode, move the chat to another position, do your click, abort edit mode, so the position resets.
How can you release this? This feels like an alpha version of a feature.
