So far, most of the shadowlands news has been great , but reading the devblog about class changes , I am surprised to seethat deepwounds mastery is still there.
Dear blizzard, please… Arms Warriors are hard hitters, not a dot class, please remove this mastery.
What warriors need is deepwounds as a passive, it should be dealing 5-15% of my dps, not 50%+
Replacing Deep wounds with something like weapon master from WOD would be great which does a passive damage increase to MS, execute and colossus smash.
Depp wounds is a discount wannabe UH dk rott… Could use 1 hand even, since most of the dmg is negligible except for that stupid dot, and Test of strenght build… LUL so stupid and boring.
Those are talents, baseline Arms has nothing and you can avoid any Talent that gives you Active Rage-generation.
What you do is accusing people if avoiding those Talents of it being their fault that Arms has a massive fault in it objectively according to every scientific study and theory of creating engagement regardless of what you feel on an emotional level. That you’re unaware of it has no connection to me.
It also narratively makes no sense, because I hit someone in the head it fuels my anger, despite Arms being the calm and collected spec?
It would solve a lot of oddities if Rage for Arms was renamed Momentum. Also, imagine all the things you could implement in for the spec, like abilities both costing Momentum and generating a little of it to show that once an Arms Warrior gets going it’s like trying to stop a train.
i don’t care about deep wounds. i care about the fact that i like arms more than fury but i can’t play arms cos its the worst solo survival class out there anything can litteraly kill you if you are alone.
if you are talking about 1v1s then arms is not really good for that but no one really cares about 1v1s also arms has a much higher skill gap compared to fury warrior a good arms player can beat a good fury player most of the time
why every spec in the game should be good in 1v1 except for arms warrior? if no one cares about 1v1 then all specs should be as bad, turn healing off for all specs then we can talk. arms being the only one that is bad is not fair i wouldnt’ care if even half the specs are bad in 1v1 and theo ther half is good but no. everyone is good and arms alone is bad.
Would be good if it was balanced, i kind of like opportunity strikes, would be a good way to bake in more rage regeneration for arms, it’s not an issue atm with the amount of haste we have though.
Idk i just don’t like the idea of our mastery doing like half our dps, being completely passive with no player agency, i think arms is more exciting as a big hitter who exploits the enemies weakness.
I think many people have different opinions on it, and lets face it, i think arms warrior mastery is an easy way for blizzard to have a tuning knob for arms dps.
i think deep wounds should not be a mastery but should be a passive however have the damage by it greatly nerfed. It does make sense that a a huge 2h would cause lots of bleeding but right now the passive bleed in pretty much every scenario it is our top damaging ability and does not feel like it properly suits the arms warrior style of few but powerful hits.
They could easily have just made rend the mastery instead since you seem to hate the “passive” bleed aspect but i suspect you would still be complaining.
? most arms warriors hate the fact that bleeds always do our top damage when we are supposed to be a big hitting spec so i think you earned the title of the dumbest and most unaware post of the day
