Being able to use just 1 pain sup on another person while stunned makes you the giga healer all day every day. 2 is just lol

Its not problem in losing games, but its problem when you lose games vs. someone who is 3 lightyears behind you just because he play class on steroids, not because how he play, this is source of all hatred and disrespect…and when blizzard overbuff something 90% games you play consist of those God classes
Class diversity is indicator of healtly and balanced game, when 90% of games have priest, its time to deratisation, no mercry or hesitation shoud be shown there, they are subject of emergency hotfix, just let the better win.
Ngl sometimes 2x Pain sub is not enaugh try too heal a frost mage or Enh with no real damage negation, a DH that goesss BBBBrrr 1 painsub for the Hunt a view sec later he pops Meta for another 20 sec burst and there is still another Dps so its alrdy hard
With that high damage i would love that many speccs get 2 charges of there defensive
Reroll is 2 easy soon every player have a view chars full equipt and he always will play the one the most which is OP, so you always will face the fotm specc in arena

Just look AWC, instead to see some mad skills, you see meta classes abusing the game…what new to learn watching AWC besides to abuse game yourself…it cannot be more sad.
You guys forget that the whole concept of disc priest is damage absorb. If you fight against one you can see that shields and %damage reductions are almost 50% of their throughput in healing.
Funny thing is that since its not a direct heal it does not count towards dampening. So I, as a Rcham (or Rdruid, or MW monk, or Holy priest/pala) that relies on direct heals, I am nerfed with respect to Dpriest. Same with Pevoker. They have damage reduction skills too, but less than Dpriest.
Disc Priest is fine. Its all other healers that are not.
The truth is that Dpriest is the ONLY healer that is actually fun to play. Not because its OP, but because its the only one that can stop the disgusting giga damage 1-shots that make arena matches last 5 seconds.
Therefore: I doubt that the giga damage meta will change. So the solution is to buff all other healers or remove dampening to make it an even playing field.
Thats truth, priest is only healer which have chance to heal guys which not gonna use a single defensive coolown when geting nuked… however priest is still overbuffed and fairly OP compared to others.
Small correction here: The only % based damage reduction Prevoker has is his own wall (Obsidian Scales). Time Dillation which can be used on teammates works like Brewmaster stagger, it just delays a portion of the damage taken and turns it into a DoT, you still take 100% of it.
Everything else is just straight up healing output, the spec has 0 cooldowns that are unaffected by dampening.
But other than that I agree, the Disc CDs being unaffected by damp is one of the main reasons why they are so strong right now, besides their absolutely broken damage output.

Well they either give substantial nerfs to disc priests or the game will rot. 3v3 and 2v2 already dead and super deflated. Now they make solo a miserable FOTM affair. Nah, I don’t wanna create a disc and join the abusers. I want the game to be relatively balanced. And 99% disc representation is the furthest thing from that.

A bit of history: It was introduced years ago for a meta in which healers had infinite mana, and dps had very limited damage multipliers.
That made matches last literally 30 minutes each and end in a tie. I totally understand that back in the day, it made more sense to just nerf healing % via dampening than rework the whole PvE and PvP healer concept from the ground up.
10 years have passed. Its a TOTALLY different game now !. Now healers do not have infinite mana, and dps can (and will) kill people in a single go if you let them.
So I vote to scrap dampening. 100%. ALL of it. Nerf mana regen (its already nerfed in PvP from 10k/5s to 4k/5s) and make it ilegal to drink in arenas. This avoids matches lasting for ever, and makes balancing easier.
Why balancing easier? Some specs rely on direct healing more than others. Including dps defensives.
Even playing field for everyone. Healers and DPS alike. And let the smartest healer win the OOM battle by casting the right spell for the right moment.
Hard agree. Balance the game around mana consumption and ditch damps. Healers struggling to heal basic damage across all brackets. Ditch damps. This would also alleviate the issues where certain classes are stronger than others based on walls which have 100% effectiveness always unlike heals.
