Remove Double Pain Supression

Bad design. Takes away brain usage and being punished for bad choices. Makes many specs unable to do damage on their high cooldown damage cds.

Every bracket is literally infested with Disc priests right now. 80% of them don’t even know how to play the spec properly and still win anyway.

Anybody who argues otherwise and brings up other healers either mains or enjoys the spec right now or is delusional.

im glad he enjoys his game, he should also think how the healers could enjoy the game aswell tho as he needs those heals to play his game

dont need to argue, everyone can just look at dps ques for soloq and the ammount of healers in lfg

The main issue with ps is actually the best wall in the game and usable while stun, against setup comp basically you can never trinket or rarely lose if you are good.

If we take disc and compare it to rsham for example one is absolutely insane and easy and the other is really hard to play even if played well

Won’t happen. This change was made with PvE in mind to push a talent choice node which most people never took before the buff. (Therefore it’s in the spec tree and not a PvP-talent)

i would rather jump off a cliff than play rsham on the current expansion

so i started play a rdruid which i didnt enjoy but was viable heal, then blizz announced they will be removing broccoli from its arsenal for pvp in 10.0.7 talent tree changes so it also becomes as trash as rsham to play if u can only heal with hots and ur talent choises depend on people not using their purges or not swapping on hots

now i play disc and i hate the theme of the class over shamans

this is what blizzard presented to us and this is what we play the few who still willing to go heal in this game that is

there aint many as any can see from dps ques to soloq or ammount heals in lfg

im happy for all people who enjoy dps and having teams to play 2/3s

should also think on bit bigger picture of things tho

Resto shamy doesn’t even feel that bad to play. I can potentially do a lot of stuff which I miss on my priest and monk. It’s only the too fast paced gameplay and the reliance on hard casted heals which hurts against certain classes and comps. Doesn’t make things unplayable but certainly harder to deal with than with other healers.

every dps literally in df are having time of their lives, u see people with zero exp on pvp since forever doing just fine

its literally catered for dps players enjoyment this whole game currently no matter how skilled or unskilled they are

yet all i see on forum mostly complains from dps, it could also be worse

you could be healing this shaite and hating every minute of the choises they pushed into df

30y kick on 12sec cd is the only thing i miss from my sham if im on df disc or other healers, everything else rest do better and have better cds and better healing output

i dont even have globals to press purge or yet alone do dmg most of times on my rsham so why play shaman say over disc

ps. i absolute feel disgusted when i see eles or even the occasional enhas who never use their 12sec range kick to interupt nothing. absolute disgusted, feel vomit to my lap

literally the best range kick in the game and people chose to not use it on class that they chose to play that has it

Yeah thats sad, tbh I think rsham gameplay is one the best gameplay in the game, the toolkit seems really strong and you can do well against any type of class.

But the healing is terrible and the mechanic is imo out dated, earthen isn’t even strong enough in meta like this, tide is killavle really easily and link pretty sketchy to use and require people to be close or the healer being in a weird spot for it (also killable).

Only ascendance seems good and still not enough against this dmg.

its not “pure healer” its meant as offensive ye, if cant utilize enough on the offensive part then its better to play something else that can or something that has more healing output

disc has good hybrid dmg/healing currently, only gets hard if let their healths drop then its harder to comeback than on other healers that have better healing output

current meta doesnt allow the shamans weaving heals and dmg type of gameplay very well, disc works better when it also heals for doing dmg

the game is too dmg heavy and has too many micro cc and ms effects and punishing dampen for anything else

also something like pain supression or dome or life swap works alot on fast ramping dampen than say shamans healing tide or ascend does which do nothing on damp

maybe the topic of the post should be to ask blizz to fix their game instead than remove the only healer from it that still works

I mean Earthen Wall has the same HP as the shaman so if people throw 360k damage at one totem it kinda did its job.^^

MAIN PROBLEM:
-Priest spells are ultimate game changers and do not carry consequences, let me explain from my aspect…we all agree that cyclone is also game changer spell, but to cyclone someone i must expose myself, come near, risk to be locked from healing, risk to get switched…etc…now lets look at priest spells

Shadow word death: one of best finishers in game, its supposed to damage priest, but backlash damage is to weak, compared to its kill potential, missed shadoword death shoud devastate priest and send him to oblivion, because he got kill potential, he casted it like idiot and missed, pay the price simply as that

Soul swap: First of all totaly unecessary spell for disco, total overbuff, It can stop entire go, 40 yard range for disc who gonna swap then go behind pillar with shields is way to powerful, disc shoud have 20yrd range for it, then bro swap something, right now swap is almost risk free and yiled it offer is way to high

2x Pain supression = entire community still wish to know, why you did that unecessary overbuff, what was reason behind, in SS this change makes priest king because people there tend to die without any defensive used, so PS is big game changer there, while other healers can just watch how mates die helplessly

priest fear spell luck factor, need to be looked since time memorial, how many times i evaded 5 fears from priest, then he do just one fear, and randomizer says: Fear someone to africa, and you lose game because of it.

And in the end, good priest do more damage than low-medicore DPS, damage of priest overall is disgusting high for healer. We all agree that game is right now a bit to fast paced, but when priest is in group, pace become ultra paced, and game feels like enemy team have 3 DPS while in same time they have best healing game can offer… you cant have sheeps and money in same time… but priests have currently.

In addition if you play arena 3 hours 90%+ healers you meet will be priest, its BORING, also game vs priest if you are any other healer feels David vs. Goliath, the class is on steroids… emergency hotfix is needed

i hit a 100k swd yday on mw as disc and it heals my team too if he didnt die lol

ive done 200k borschts on rsham too with stormkeeper but it doesnt help when its 3 globals to do it if someone on team died during u doing it

This, sw death is insane on disc, as sp full gear my overall sw death is around 25k 30k.

Swap imo should have stayed sp cause it’s what makes sp different from every other hybrid, and for healer having swap + vampiric embrace ( or sure for holy) totally makes no sense to me, otherwise why don’t give sp rapture or ps?

Fear is both either insane or sketchy (for lock/war also) cause sometimes you fear somebody and the target run around pillar or even go up/downstairs, but sometimes fear it in an aoe and break it or save the guy cause the fear make him Los any futur incoming cc as well. (could be either troll or insane).

Every expansion we sit and we think it’s gonna be different, it’s not, it’s never going to be, they keep making the same mistakes over and over and over again, it’s actually getting kinda tiresome at this point, they don’t seem to understand or care, that the changes they do for pve affects pvp, and vice versa, lul

pain sup were pve oriented change with talent tree pathing ye but atleast we gained one healer for pvp from it, game dont have too many of those lying around :smiley:

its still shait to heal this expansion tho
