Remove duo queue from blitz

I know this is going to sound crazy, but being able to duo queue undermines the integrity of solo queue, so you should probably not let people do that.

Thanks.

Q as duo is fine.

It lowers Q times for everybody because healers are in short supply. 2 players in a party can’t make a big difference in a Battleground anyway.

The top of the ladder is just really good and can carry games with 1-2 weak team mates. And they play a lot.

If 2 players can’t make a big difference, why can’t everyone queue duo? 2 coordinated players can make an enormous difference; the fact that you somehow don’t understand this says a lot about you.

>b-b-but what about the healers!

I’m sick of hearing this. I’m sorry if you don’t want to play a healer. Allowing them to break the rules of the game isn’t a valid solution. I’ll take the longer queue times to engage in a fair game. If you’d like to duo with your friend, you can already do RBGs or random BGs - why does this need to impact the solo experience?

Am actually rooting for the duo queue removal

You’re kidding, right?

Having Voice chat with another player in your team is a huge advantage even if its just 1.

Can you elaborate how ”lowers q times” happens?

The real reason why there is duo q is because blizzard literally has always given social players massive advantages over loners. Even with the dawn of solo modes they could not abstain from it.

It is quite logical. Social players get to enjoy the game more through special advantages like 2s, 3s, blitz duo, q syncing shuffles, not to mention the fact that the game skill is all about knowledge and knowledge is gained fastest in this game via socializing.

In return these social players, because they are social and happy, are more likely to refer new players in to the game.

Without duo queue, how are those russian preservation evokers supposed to put food on the table? :money_with_wings:

No it isn’t. We can have games without healers if they are not enough healers.

I wouldn’t mind really , it would be 10 times better …

Try play something like windwalker monk or shadow priest without a healer.
Enjoy losing to rets and rogues.

Well if they are getting only 1-2 weak people no wondering they getting 2k rating my groups its 3v8 most games.

No thanks.

Yes. Boosters love that duo. And totally destroy Blitz.

More boosters = more money for blizzard

We all know why they always allow these premade stuff in pvp and its not because “this is an mmorpg and people would like to play with their friends”

2 things.

No duo que.

And games without healers , if they aren’t enough. Just 2 teams with mirror roles anything goes.

You wait in que more than you play in that crap.

Well , the 99% of the population doesn’t even gaf about PvP to give money to a booster anyway. You can farm PvP gear without even doing PvP, with crates . And not many will gaf if they don’t have the elite PvP set , when they can have all other sets by just playing the game…

Well, even the elite set , you can go 1800 for example in more controlled environment… not in Blitz , if you are to pay boosters…

If anything , about duos, it’s that it supposed to be solo and the duos HAVE TO bring healer. Which means the queue for solos gets worse as the MM is build around healers.

And If serious players play duos, you may have 2 duos in one team (half the team) and the other team are solo only, which is INSANE difference, especially if they are on coms.

It’s not about boosters. It’s because it is supposed to a mode about solo players, but it fks them in every turn and twice in weekends.

And because they don’t fix it by just making mirror role combinations teams , not specifically around healers and the queues are THAT BAD , let’s say i played 15 games in 7 hours. The game lasts 5 mins average.
