Maybe, buy the title said “Remove GCD”. And the only other way to synchronize animations is by their own length, which opens a different can of worms.

Blizz can not remove gcd even if it’s a more logical thing to do because their ilvl scaling would bottelneck the possible action per minute cloud servers.

You Got 40v40 AV rogue lag fiesta cause rogue dont have capped aoe and it scales multiple ilvl calculations per gcd…

Imagine you doing a macro with no gcd… It would lag out and the guy not opening would die as lag would prevent him to do any action.

Gcd is bad as now if I use my CD on a boss that IS about to die I lose dps and that IS counter to its purpose
