The gcd change is annoying yes, many abiities should be removed from the gcd, mainly defensives at the very least.
To be fair you donât really feel it as a BM Hunter.
They should definitely remove GCD from defensive abilities as they are all used reactively most of the time I would say. Too many one shot things around in raids to have defensives on gcd.
You often have split second to react but even if you react, spell is unavailable due to gcd most likely.
I have no issues with offensives being on GCD, but they should add cool animations to them so they feel like you used something (that recklessness with afterimage that never made it in is very good example). Some specs have it, most I would say donât.

I never thought I would see a necro on these new forums.
Same people who run it. The old forum software was not the only issue.
I was under the impression that threads were locked by default in Discourse if they donât get replies for a certain amount of time, but apparently that is a setting you can turn off. They must have either turned it off, or set the timer to a much higher value.
I believe the official stance on the old forums is that resurrecting an old thread is still okay so long as the discussion is relevant and the person who posted the reply added value to the discussion. A person who just necros for the sake of necroâing would cause the thread to derail and result in a lock.
On the subject of the GCD, my general feeling with it is that if it must stay, then they need to do another survey of spells to be taken off the GCD. For example, defensives really do not belong on the GCD, especially for tanks. A spell like Frenzied Regeneration for example does not feel good on the GCD and Guardian druids have been overwhelmingly asking for it to be taken off.

The game is pretty much this already. At most you can get by with just pushing a few buttons or using macros.
I like GCD. It is not bad really.

Wow is about casuals - biggest community in-game. They need easier gameplay, slower so they added GCD. Blizzard will always think about them because most players are casuals = more $$$. Some ppl find gcd changes nice because you need to plan ahead like when your team is dying and you play tree of life form. Should i swiftmend or incar?
Slower gameplay is easier. Also look at melees. In legion auto attack did no dmg no it is noticeable on skada
I like gcd on offensive,deffensive cds.
Moving out of sht and dying because mobility was on gcd not my thing.

I agree it is realy stupid, and bring back the portals. everyone of them!

I miss my wotlk elemental shaman stacking haste and making my lighting bolt almost instant was the most fun time i had after blasting people off their flying mounts with thunderstorm.
and blizzard dont care.
go play other games if youdont like it.
I think OP means for stuff like cooldown abilities like TW or whatever
