hey i thinnk it is about time to make GDKP illegal it have taken total crazy turns som runs they want 70k+ for 1 item if blizzard can’t see how ppl are getting this gold they need to get ther Head a good scan for i think somthing is missing inside it BAN GDKP Or make so you can only trade Hard farm gold in them hard to make then just make it illegal

When (almost) the entire server its using GDKP, is no longer a “me” problem, but a “you” problem.
They banned Multiboxing because it made…farming “better” … yet, they keep this …idiocricy? Whoever agrees with this, its a part of it.
But yes, I agree that Blizzard is making lots of money, because 10s of K of gold can’t be farmed by your “usual” players for 1 item, and so they are buying gold with Tokkens.

“Almost the entire server” = a few groups from hundreds… cool story bro… Join a better realm if it bothers you so much. Nothing about GDKP is against the rules. You know who joins those runs? People who don’t want to play the game and just want to buy all their gear. I’ve never been to a GDKP, never had the gold. Never had a reason to go either, I’ve been raiding every week with my guild since TBC. We do alt runs and when we don’t have enough people for the alt raid we take pugs.
So whats your excuse? You don’t have the gold to join GDKP, you’re too bad to join pugs and you don’t have the personality to join a guild? Yeah that sounds about right. Why else would these runs bother you? And no, it isn’t the “there aren’t any pug groups cause its all GDKP” argument since thats just a flat out lie. “Oh no, someone has more gold than me, thats so unfair!” or is it more the “Oh no, someone has the money to buy tokens and sell them for gold, thats so unfair!” hmm? Go on, I can see through every one of your generic arguments.

Sadly, it is not that simple. I didn’t join GDKP even once, but it still hurt my gameplay significantly. I guess you know how. Bots, bots, bots. If Blizzard can’t ban bots, maybe he can ban the main reason why bots are there. BG started to be unplayable again. But it will never happen anyway.

Don’t think so, still have over a month of paid play time left, only one account too. So far my only idea is conflicting names, which caused the priest (who is “fresher”) to overwrite the warlock. I deleted the priest, gonna see if my warlock eventually returns.
Yeah, but removing combat, dungeons, raids, crafting, collecting and anything unique one player could obtain would kinda ruin the game and just turn it into a chat room… If it aint one thing, its another. The main reason for bots existing would just become the next main reason. This is one of the reasons I keep saying, you can’t remove bots from MMOs. If there is any profit in it for them, they will keep botting. I play MMOs with like a playerbase of 300 people or less and they have bots farming stuff and gold isn’t even that useful in those MMOs… There will always be bots.

Yeah, but it would be way less if GDKP didn’t exist. It is the MAIN reason. Without GDKP, there would be so little demand for gold that bots would stop being profitable. Some bots would still exist, yes, but would be nothing compared to today.

Yeah, thats clearly why everyone is always looking for buyers instead of carries. Most people that join GDKPs want clean pug raids and not waste their time in meme sr runs. If you still cant see why GDKPs are superior to sr in every way, you are beyond help at this point.
And no, “just join a guild” is not an argument, if a guild provides actual alt runs instead of splits or hosting their own gdkps, there will always be people that have more alts than runs.

I didn’t understand this at all. People forming GDKP are looking for someone to milk, so GDKP is superior and SR meme or something because of what again? And where is that part that opposes the idea that people are buying gold so they can buy items indirectly with money? So they can play as little as possible.
His statement was “people who join gdkps just want to buy all their gear”, which is obviously not the case since everyone has to actively search for people to buy items. The majority that joins these runs are looking to earn gold and buy a few cheap items, not to spend absurd amounts of gold.
And thats why is a GDKP problem, because you provide for the goldbuyers a way to buy whatever they want for real money. I wouldn’t care if there weren’t bots everywhere. But there are, and almost only because of GDKP. They are ruining one of my last fun things that classics can offer (BG).
And guess what, the second you get rid of gdkp its guilds offering boost runs like on retail. There is no winning in this, people that want to buy their gear with rmt will get it anyway. The only way to fix it is (obviously) properly punishing goldbuyers/sellers and bots, but thats not going to happen since blizzard would have to hire staff for that.

Some guilds have been offering this since I started playing. But it would reduce gold buyers anyway. It is different to have to find a guild to boost you or if you can buy gold and join GDKP 24/7 every time you want. Some people will always find a way. But GDKP is on a different level.
Yzzie: To make it clear, I am not against GDKP as a loot system. I think it can work in a perfect world. But reality is that it is full of gold buyers who ruined the game for everyone else (because of bots). If Blizzard would ban bots effectively, there would be no problem.
GDKP leaders hate him: get free loot with this one trick!!!
