A huge attraction for many people in pre-patch seems to be the ability to level alts in a fun and fresh way and then have fun trying them out. Why then force players to do a boring repetitive grind for every alt instead of letting people just have fun and try things out when they hit max?
The expansion is over and lots of people were looking forward to getting rid of corruption to get a more even battlefield and less grind. But this part still forces new alts to grind instead of just playing what they wanna play. Even when the pre-patch quests with catch-up gear is added, essences are still important and requires grind to unlock on alts.
