Well I am… Rather confused by what I have read, and to not imply anything on a personal level, I will just say this;

I honestly don’t really understand this. The whole thing you want to achieve sounds like a complicated solution to a problem that doesn’t exist.
What is the benefit of all of this? The only thing I can think on my own, is that this way you could secretly talk with her cause she wouldn’t know that she talk with the same person.
How it is weak. On the contrary - its smooth way to let trolls troll on their own instead getting satisfaction from knowing I saw or heard them.

Well now to think I have a situation like OP too, … just that I am the girl in the scenario.
People have no idea how exhausting overly attaching online ‘friends’ can be.
I normally don’t, but 11 years in same guild some things do come out.

Why should we hide our gender? I myself cba avoiding a lot of topics incase a guy finds out my gender in the case they will act different. Like just don’t assume every female player wants to get hit on?
Some people’s defense mechanism is cutting off all contact with the person they like so they manage easier to forget about them, to get through the rejection, unreciprocatedness (is that even a word??)…out of sight, out of mind principle.

How exactly is talking to a person flaunting your gender? Should I also avoid pubs with lonely men just because they could hit on me? Should I avoid mic convos in raids incase guys will be whispering me?
I don’t talk in mic and they still whisper, so nope - it wouldn’t help!
The person in question doesn’t want to talk to him, but he can still see the statements made by that person on guild chat when talking to others for example, which causes uncomfortable feelings due to “reasons” and he doesn’t want that.

It does kind of sound like you are saying “don’t tell people in game you are female because men can’t control themselves”
Where I’m from we have a couple phrases for that kind of thinking…
And if you use your brain for one second you will realise that it is not the fault of women if men can’t act appropriately whether it’s in real life or in a game setting and that women shouldn’t have to remove themselves or hide their gender so men can control themselves!
If you get attention from older females at work simply because you are the only male? Well it’s your own fault for being a man so just quit your job! See how ridiculous that statement sounds?
Nah mate, I’m not the one whinging about unwanted attention I’m just an advocate for men taking responsibility for their own actions and not blaming women when it’s the men who are in the wrong.

Your posts smack of victim blaming and a certain type of culture whether you like it and want to admit it or not.

It’s an unique identifier that no one else has, just like your forum account. (That uses that character too!). The GDPR turned identity on it head: it doesn’t need to be your ‘real life’ identity, it could also be internet handles too, ie unique character name.
We could turn that around and say that being able to friend any character with out their express consent could also be a breach!

That’s just absolute nonsense and absolutely not how it works. You are saying someone should leave their workplace if they are not comfortable for being harrashed (or “learn to live with it”). Where i live if you grab someone at workplace, even as a joke, it is you who has to leave. You will get fired. And grabbing anyone in inappropriate places is not happening very often, because people know how to behave at work. Normal adult work behaviour.
Seems Social Services should be investigating the place if that sort of attitude prevails.
I think we live in very different countries.
