People spending ages on Chests speaks otherwise, including myself… and yes, I got the addon that shows them as “clusters” [Handynotes] on their locations …
Then you’re doing something wrong. I have not had a single issue with chests spawns and I’ve been doing dailies on 2 different characters.

Meh I usually just skip them, don’t need those quests anyways.
What I am more bothered with is that they are still flagged as “Rare”. They are far from rare 
.
How the heck does someone “do something wrong”? Either they’re up or they’re not… and they often aren’t. They despawn after awhile from first interaction so you’re just lucky.

How about, and bear with me since this may be a novel concept, if you don’t want to do a quest, you just don’t do it?

And when they despawn on 1 location in the clusters, they respawn somewhere else in that cluster, usually instantly.
There’s no way I’ve been able to do those quests every day 2x within 15 minutes by simply being lucky.

Simply removing them, because some people don’t like them, is not an option.

Have you considered not doing these Q if they bother you so much? I don’t do them either, it helps

Just timed my rare daily, started at 18:51, finished at 18:57. Also got 2/8 Coalesced Corruption and 3/6 faceless minions in that time period (Uldum major invasion).

Just cut it to 1 rare and 1 chest or double the rewards gained from both of these.
Took the liberty to also time the chests. I forgot to pick up the quest while already looting one so I started at 1/3. With 4 spawn clusters, that reduced it do 3/3 possibilities, so it’s a bit less searching. Started at 19:09 with 1/3. Was at 3/3 at 19:11. But yes, 3 chests so I went for the third one and got that at 19:13. Reason being so late was because it was the chest all the way up north in Uldum and I was all the way south, so I spent at least a minute flying.
I can keep reporting here to tell you that the system is fine, once you figure out how it works.
Update: The Vale mantid assault
Started 19:21, finished 3 chests at 19:24. Finished the dailies at 19:30, which included a 4th chest and 2 rares. Most time took me to find the 12 mantid I had to kill.

So-called “rares” should be removed and replaced with actual rares which are hard to find and kill.
Current treasure chest system is boring disaster and prime example of how WoW dev’s suck at game design.
To think that we could have treasure hunting with very rare chests which can’t be tracked via addons and to unlock them you would need to deal with a locking mechanism which would require manual skills, reflexes and various combinations of lock picks (obtainable trough crafting) to deal with the lock. Instead of dumb trash and war resources, Treasure Chests could drop a rare gear and other items which have additional special stats which would make them unique compared to normal gear. There could be a “tresure” class of gear which has special effects and stats.
There is soo much stuff which can be done in the current WoW to elevate the whole game to better standards but as always “everything for raids” which aren’t even a most important part of the game.
If you don’t like it, just pretend it’s been cancelled and don’t do it, it’s not like the reward is mandatory in any way shape or form.

This isn’t the first thread about this and i even see people ask if they even exist in general chat everyday
This kind of logic doesn’t apply when given content was made for millions of people.
Try to kill a Rare spawn on a shard with 10:1 ratio, your faction being a minority 
But you know what helps alot? Grouping up! And the chests… Well I just bump into them while doing other dailies.
So yeah, annoying, but not terrible. Nazjatar was beautiful, but way more annoying as far as dailies are concerned.
It is nothing but bullying and timegating people who just want to have fun. Every quest in the area is also messed up on purpose. You take all quests and want to do them somewhere and they are all shaded up and deliberately confuse you. I hope the team that made BFA are all sacked and beaten up, because thats what they deserve.
