Either you just confirmed youāre a hypocrite and you do ebg premades, or you donāt and donāt know how this works. Pick your poison.
People pick the path of least resistance. The fact that itās done through Discord is just a QoL feature, not a requirementment.
My research told me that the client doesnāt seem to ban any addons that do as you say. I take this list (coming from the game client itself) over your āI remember thatā. Feel free to point out the correct addon from the list, or if thereās another way the game blocks addons, Iāll be happy to hear it.
Maybe you missed the memo, but thereās no rated epic battlegrounds.

Surely random bgs would be more enjoyable. You get instagibbed if you do not have minimum fully upgraded enchanted playervsplayer gear which is insane imo. What is random bgs for? Gearing ofcourseā¦
Look at player versus enviroment. You do heroics first to gear up. You do not get instagibbed by heroic mobs when you have minimum item level required.
Random Bgs are for fun. You can gear up in all, rated or non rated PvP.
Winning bgs is fun, losing isnāt. This is why some of us prefer to play premade and avoid terrible players.

Do you accept meh-geared people in your bgs to gear them up? Then you have my respect, that is a good thing. Player VS Player gearing is extremely underwhelming in this expansion and Blizzardās motive is always āif we release something broken in one expansion, we will fix it in the next oneā.

If you make accusations and present memories as facts, be prepared to take the L when youāre proven wrong.
I do as long as youāre following the lead. In matches like Wintergrasp and Isle of Conquest gear doesnāt even matter as much if you can obtain vehicles or cannons.

If you think that gives you a green card to exploiting queue systems and ruining the experience of every casual pvpāer out thereā¦that honestly says more about what kind of a person you are then you would ever admit about yourself.
I remember it, it was a super great addon in mop. Because it was basically what cross realm lfg for arena is now.
The keyword is unfair. Having an advantage is one thing, just like having moonkins, locks and hero classes on your team is an (unfair) advantage. You cant determine what it means, neither can we. But judging by the GM conversation Id guess we have a pointer.
As for disabling >5m group queueing: Maybe blizzard would ban 2+ grp bg premades if there was a way to enforce such a rule, but I doubt there is. Ive played many bgs in a group with a friend or two where we end up with another group of my friends. Its just extremely hard to enforce a rule like this without causing collateral dmg - which I think they wanna avoid at all costs.
Besides, disabling a function doesnt necessarily mean they wanna ban/remove everything similar. Maybe they settle for restricting accessibility. An analogy could be addons in pve: You have addons that drastically impact pve gameplay and make it a nightmare to design dungeon/raid encounters, yet blizzard wont ban such addons, but rather restrict some of the functionality (like nameplates in instances).
let me reveal something - those people are mostly creepy if we are talking about horde in small bgs because i know them personally
There is a pretty easy way. If a queue pops donāt show which BG opens. Just show a black screen. So, no one knows which bg has opened and you have to join and play or leave and get deserter.
