Good job on removing necrotic and some other terrible affixes. There are only 2 left to go. Remove bolstering and sanguine and we can actually play m+ every week. Online player count in my friend list is reduced by half when we get these 2 affixes.
As I’ve gone higher I’ve just wanted them to just remove all affixes. The dungeons are hard enough on their own in a lot of cases without affixes on top.
its kinda ironic but i find the entangliing 10 times more annoying the bolstering this week maybe because not every class has hand of freedom / tiger lust to just remove them
even in this range the dds can get one shot by some bolstered mobs
another anti fun affix, where you cant chain pull or your dds must have a little bit of an overview of kicks and which mob should be focused…and the most are already overwhelmed by their specc
and i like it - because it lets my adjust pulls a bit :)but sure if you main fun of m+ is gather mobs and aoe them down then bolstering can be super annoying
yeah thats m plus in a nutshell and the devs design it this way, because you have a timer on the screen
its no fun to wait because you would give the next group 2 stacks of bolstering
but doing nothing and waiting(, because you are done) is the design of dragonflight so its fine in dev perspective
That is something players need to learn, though. It’s a basic mechanic in M+. There are some great profiles for Plater (the addon) that make it very easy to see which the critical mobs are and what casts must be interrupted (I like this one: https://wago.io/ak3iS95aa).
Strictly from this perspective (more incentive to learn what spells need to be interrupted) I like bolstering: it hurts if you don’t interrupt. The downside is that it punishes the healer when people don’t interrupt. It’s actually in part why I went with a shaman for my next-season/expansion main: having a 12s interrupt, AoE stun, and an AoE semi-interrupt/stop (talented thunderstorm) as a healer is downright amazing.
Successful interrupts should be more rewarded, like a 10% damage boost for x seconds after landing a successful interrupt. Even better would be if enemy spells had a “value”, e.g. interrupting nasty spells could give a higher damage bonus than interrupting a minor, low priority spell.
always good if you pug and dont see the ppl ever again, most ppl dont kick/stun(, besides hunter which throw their funny blue arrow on cd) or use utility to cheese any mechanic
no, because the person which will be hit is just dead, so no heals necessary
so just play prot pala or dh tank (which are already hard meta) as tank…tank balance in m plus is beyond bad like every season
yep why not all affixes at once? would be the greatest joy for sure
the funny Philosophy of the blizz devs are that they want that player are done with power progression, why not delete affixes so we can accelerate this even more?
i know i did it on all of them, but its giga easy on a dh tank, when you compare it to a bear or prot warri.
you solo kick and cc group after group as dh tank and you dont have to rely on your mates.
True, that would be the downside. But I feel it might work better than people not interrupting because it’s a dps loss or because someone else will deal with it (or not).
