the hot part referred to druids, the ghost wolf to shamans. I have played shaman on bfa in arenas and i know how it feels. Imho healers have to cast, need to fake cast and there should be a good limit to the amount of interrupts a team can bring. Because for example vs DK / DH there is 12o39182098098 interrupts and CC it’s almost pointless to fake.
Still, you should not be able to heal without mana and without casting unless you are under a fairly long CD

Personally, I think dps classes should have some form of selfhealing. Small stuff like a fury’s Bloodthirst, so they can be a bit independant as well.

Arms should do rough Damage, Fury medium Damage but with a bit Healing.
Enhance/Ret should be “Hybrids” or “Supporters”, so they get healing too.

Looking at druids… In stead of just HoT up and deal damage/chain cc. They should nerf HoTs by 50-75%. Healing on DPS/tanks by 100%.

Hybrids like Paladins/shamans/boomkins should have selfheals on the level of current enhancement - totally worthless in combat.

The problem is that for some classes healing is tuned without traits being considered.
Heals should be in game and hybrids should have less overall DMG in PvP because of that and their utility. But all in all they should stay. For pure dps classes like rogues, mages etc… it should be removed esp with the broken defensivs, utility and DMG they bring.

hybrids healing is based on the utility toolkit that they have compared to pure dps.
They lack other defensives or cc or whatever and therefore they have heals.
If off heals are too strong, the OFF heals should be reduced, but not the selfheals, because that is their only def at least for shamans and boomies… palas still have like 20 other def cds

just because something is broken doesn’t make your statement correct.
hybrids should not have less dmg then other dps. they should have less def cds then other dps and therefore they have heals als their def. Off healing also means that you don’t deal any dmg in that period of time. If off healing is broken, reduce only the off healing and not the selfhealing or you destroy the class

I must say that I do find the irony of a Hunter, who won reppeatedly, asking for longer cooldowns on heals or for them to be removed entirely.
BM have talent heal btw, Everyone else have talent heal on Turtle. And I find the hipocrasy staggering. Asking for the removal of things that are a slowdown of their ability to kill someone while completely ignoring the fact that they baseline can completely negate all melee damage, which is a major hindrance to any and all melee.
Hunters got Disengage as they had something called a deadzone which was a range of 5-8 yeards where they ouild do nothing as it was too far for melee and too close for ranged attacks.
Then the deadzone was removed and to compensate for that buff Hunters got to keep Disengage as it had become an iconic bit of the Hunter’s toolkit.
