Honestly, Holy Paladins didn’t get any where near the nerf they should of but one MAJOR change they need to revert is the ability to attack during Blessing of Protection and this applies to all specializations.
Blessing of Protection should to make you immune to physical damage and debuffs but also make you unable to deal damage. This needs to return so Holy/RET/PROT cannot just bubble you and allow you to just zugzug while immune to stuff.
also the PVP Talent taht gives Double Bop should be outright removed.
I look at the spell book of my druid to find where the heck is purge while a paladin with wings and bop hits on me. I die before clicking on page 2. The End.
You clone the bop as rdruid. Double bop is deeply ingrained as part of existing strategies vs. certain comps, which is why it isn’t gone since it would severely affect the viability of the spec itself. It’s an honor talent, so they are giving up other options for the sake of double bop + double freedoms.
They just need to make hpalas spend mana again, and to hard cast. Hard to interrupt a healer that never casts. The cast time on holy light is 100% purely for PvE reasons.
Scaling the healing to lower so that it matches the faster cast time, if they’d ever fix that annoying PvE cast time, would get hpalas back to “normal”. It’s a 2.5s hard cast time right now, so if they’d make it 1.25s then they just need to cut the healing of the spell in half. Same healing, but costs a lot more mana per minute, and can be interrupted.
Interrupts have always been hpalas’ Achilles’ heel. It’s really weird that they removed that part of the game.
Also, with the fast pace in PvP, it makes more sense for mana to run out faster as well, which it currently does for other healers afaik. It’s just that hpalas never really spends their mana despite having such a strong healing output right now.
