Blizzard you need to stop catering to the 1% of try-hards and let the rest of us raid mythic already instead of waiting months for the so-called elite gamers to fill up the HOF list. The hardest thing about mythic raiding isn’t the content itself, it’s passing the obscene requirements to get into one of those guilds which ask you to dedicate every waking moment to them. This restriction is artificial nonsense that only exists to make the try-hards feel special, because they would feel less important if all of us could partake in their activity instead of gate-keeping it for their special little clubs and needing to be a sycophant to a control freak guild master on a power trip.
It reminds me of when I was a kid taking piano lessons, and my sister who was ahead of me would get upset when I played songs from her more advanced songbook because it made her feel less special. It’s pearl-clutching, nothing more, and it’s time to let the rest of us start clearing mythic too even if it hurts the egos of your try-hard malders when they see the rest of us killing mythic bosses too. We’re not satisfied with garbage normal and heroic loot, we want access to the real rewards already. It’s 2021, how about you start making your game MORE instead of less accessible or else watch as FF14 continues to eat up your market share and eventually replace you, because their devs actually care about the players instead satisfying the delicate egos of the 1%.

That barrier is a relic from the past that serve absolutely no damn purpose. Oh and with Alliance dying, the hall of Shame might take way more time to fill, which means a longer period of time with that damn realm barrier.
I’m ready to start clearing the first few mythic bosses but these artificial restrictions won’t let me. Why is Blizzard blocking us from playing the game just because we aren’t in a special club?
