Remove the GCD from Soothing Mist

https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/feedback-monks/376497

During BFA, a GCD was added to a lot of spells in an attempt to avoid people stacking too many abilities in a single GCD.
This change was extremely poorly received by the community and most abilities that were added to the GCD have been reverted to their original state in Shadowlands, with the GCD being removed.

Since nobody plays a Mistweaver, we were the exception and the core gameplay of the class has been clunkier and slower ever since.
Please do with Mistweaver what you did with everybody else: remove Soothing Mist from the GCD and restore the spell to its former glory, as it used to be in MoP, WoD and Legion.

Thank you.

I’ll be honest, this change alone stopped me playing my monk.

It made the whole spec feel clunky and disjointed.

I absolutely agree.
This change not only made me stop playing Monk - I didn’t even play BFA.
The moment I saw on wowhead that they were making this change, I refused to purchase the expansion.

I really want this thread to get some visibility. I’m sad it won’t because very few people care about this spec.

Yeah, this topic comes up once in a while. Currently shoothing mist is a trap-button. The GCD on it makes no sense.

I just wish someone cared.

I completely stopped playing mistweaver since SL prepatch. It’s just so bad and boring. At least in BFA it was fun to use way of the crane in pve with the pvp essence but they destroyed that talent.
I stopped caring and switched to brewmaster, I get insta-invites in keys and anyway pvp does not exist in SL. Mistweaver is just so bad, I haven’t even seen a single one in 15+ keys this whole expansion. It’s a dead spec and sadly no one cares.

Welcome to Mistweaver, where fun spells are introduced then immediately deleted or given to another class.

Sheilun’s gift and Mistwalk were fun. Bring THAT back instead of $ù*!ing Zen Pulse.
