Remove the pet, FOR THE LOVE OF

I mean if you can’t get it to work properly after all these years, just make it gone.

Yesterday I was in Twin Peaks, and I died, whihc happens but when I jumped off the little cliff spawn point, I went full ham into some horde, but unfortunately full ham basically meant full cheap meat… My Generator was not working, I could not master’s call, I tried to stun a player but nothing was happening… It seems my pet was still at the span point on the little cliff.

Sorry is there something I should be doing differently than jumping off the spawn point to play the game? Or is that because I play hunter I should stop and think about playing until I maybe dismiss pet first, then jump down and call pet. I mean why the hell should I jump into the action! I have to make up for the lack of bug fixes and attention this class has had for almost a decade and pick up the slack before I can have fun.

I think it is just retarded hunters still have to deal with issues like this, more over it affects us so much more than anyone else, because we are SO SO SO SO heavily reliant on our pet to literally to jack shiz.

BM aside, why not have all our abilities involving our pet just have a summon type animation and be done with it. Maybe a perk could be that every time we summon it, it does some kind of damage or has some kind of utility. I mean like:

Master’s Call: You call out to the wild to summon a beast that frees you of movement imparing effects. Your beast will rush to your target and snare them for 70% for duration of the master’s call freedom. Lasts 6 seconds. 30s CD

Intimidation: You call out to a beast of shadows to instantly stun your target and at themn to increase their damage taken by 5% for 6 seconds. 45s CD.

Roar of Sacrifice: You call out to beast of the skies that swopps down to reduce you chance to be crit by 50% and reduce your damage taken by 25% for 10 seconds, upon expiration the beast will attack you, siphoning 5% hp over 10 seconds. Useable while stunned.

Spirit Mend: Call out to the Majetics Beasts of spirit world, Instantly healing you for 15% max HP and another 15% over 10 seconds. 40s CD. Useable while stunned.

These are examples of what NON-BM Hunters should contend with. I’m sorry but the whole pet thing for hunter is now a tad outdated, the functionality has been left behind in the last few design iterations of the game. It is time for change, this class is so f ing outdated it hurts.

I agree, there’s way too much utility tied to the pet. Intimidation etc could just summon a Dire Beast and be done with it…

I wouldn’t mind so much, but even when stunned we can’t do what every other pet wielding class can, which is use their pets CC while stunned. This ONE issue shows how much attention is given to hunters, which is none. It has been YEARS upon YEARS and still we can’t use pet CC while stunned, yet locks and DKs can. Let that sink in.

To make it worse we COULD do it with monkey stun, but that went away well over a decade ago.

Hunters are in absolute shambles.
