Remove Tiger Dash

Please. I no more want to see that poor excuse of a spell in my talents tab. Whoever designed it is living wisecrack.

As of now all it does is take the place of a possibly better choice, and is nothing but a gap filler. Why would anyone right in their mind take it ?

Thanks.

Its easy.

For a healer, the healing talent is rubbish.

So its either tigers dash, or the other talent which has a higher skill cap to make good use out of it.

For me, the nerfing of dash, makes tigers dash more appealing. If they hadn’t had nerfed dash, I would never take tiger’s dash.

I think i personally go 50/50 with the talents.

I will say, I am not a fan though of tiger’s dash.

I rather have DB and the old dash

Have you ever tried to play with renewal, sir ? It’s a lifesaver, off GCD and costs no mana. In raids as well as in MM+, renewal can come across as incredibly helpful unlike TD. When it comes to running away kitty form is often more than enough (worst case scenario : go dash).

In PvP, I see 0 reasons why I should take TD over charge, no matter the spec.
In PvE, I see 0 reasons why I should take TD over renewal, no matter the spec.

I have played with renewal quite a bit, mostly in arena, as a 30% heal in bear form is fat!

Other than that, I fail to see its usage.

In m+, if I am aware enough to notice I am taking damage, I move or heal myself

Again, I agree with you, TD is kind of blah.

I would like it more, if it had a 30 sec CD.

You do realize 30% remains 30% no matter your HP ? Meaning it changes nothing whether you’re a bear or a car because your HP will adapt accordingly… ?

If you “fail” to see its usage, then it’s another story. And how cold you not, when the only place you’ve ever tried it was in arena ?
Renewal is a spell designed for emergency cases, and its being off GCD allows you to heal other people AND save your life in such situations, and that is when it comes in handy the most, not when you’re the only target to heal. There are times when you simply cannot do both fast enough to prevent everyone from dying, and the higher the difficulty of the instance the greater the use of that spell. What you’re saying about your MM+ experience sounds cute… in lower keys.

Therefore, I ask again : why would I pick that trashy TD over renewal, seeing as how the latter’s uses are much better ?

Let us not set our complains on exaggerated levels. A 1min CD could be better indeed, a 30sec one sounds more like a silly joke.

In pvp TD is actuly very good if u play mele comps in 3v3 or 2v2 with mele or Feral affiniy so u can easy LOS ppl. So TD aint that bad for PVP, most in PVE it sux. but ye is just lame talent anyway i would love it OFF GCD and then it would be WAY better talent.

Why the hostility?? I didn’t steal your cookies.

Pick whatever you like.

If you love renewal, pick it and be happy, if its so good.

I have tried every talent, in just about every situation, minus raiding.

If your a healer, and you need to take renewal, you need to learn to avoid, avoidable damage.

Barkskin, rejuv should suffice, pop into bear if necessary. Mostly move out of bad, and don’t let yourself get cleaved.

Bear form = 25% more stamina
Renewal heals for 30% of current maximum health.
Additionally, renewal can be used in any form, which is its biggest advantage when getting double melee trained, it doesn’t force me out of form.

In the end we agree, renewal has some use, and TD is not great. I just don’t get my panties in a bunch over it.

Off GCD with a lower CD, not overlapping on normal dash… wait, am I taking about our last tiger blink per chance ?
I do see what you mean but honestly the cases in which it’d happen to be of any use seem so poor. As I said I’d rather go charge, lower CD, faster jump (I don’t have to run for it) and I get to keep my dash.

What hostility are you even taking about… ?
Besides I’m having hard time deciphering your posts. Again you mention mention PvP in which renewal was never spoken of, and miss the fact that charge/jump is a much better choice for the reasons mentioned above.

I agree. If you’re in a situation where you need to heal the entire group and yourself you have spells that can do that and you should have HoTs rolling anyway to benefit from mastery (especially in M+ since you can drink whenever). If you’re just failing mechanics and taking big damage then okay…to each his own.

Mobility is also better in PvP 100% of the time (I’m excluding arena since I’ve never bothered with them).

Renewal has some very nice uses, mainly in fights where you do not profit from the additional mobility at all (e.g. Vectis, maybe Zul). In every other situation, additional mobility outweighs the benefit of a 90 second cooldown as it allows you to dodge damage more easily or finish a cast you otherwise couldn’t have finished. You shouldn’t be in a situation where you need healthstone, healthpot AND Renewal as emergency spells in a single fight.
That being said, Wild Charge is better than TD in most situations as long as you have someone to charge to. Mainly due to the problems already mentioned: long cd and replaces Dash.
