Why is Unity belt not being able to upgrade within being revered?

ZM is an old zone and I feel it strange as a returning player that I need to farm rep to be able to upgrade a legendary while losing time exploring the new season.

My suggestion:
Revered should be a req. if you want to memory to be able to upgrade your Unity to ANY slot. That gives the grind giving meaning for a bonus of putting it in any slot. But the Unity belt itself should be upgradable what ever you are revered or not.

Please devs, fix this.

Has the time requirement changed?

Last time I checked, for something to be considered old it must have existed for at least 50 years?

It’s a previous zone, my bad. But it’s nothing with the new season basically.

Not sure if I understood correctly but, you know once you unlock unity on one character that has revered rep, you can craft it in any slot at max ilvl for all characters.

If you check Hansol (The rank 3 Mage in NA in Arena). This dude is using the 265 ilvl Unity Belt. (I agree with you, but I thought it’s funny sharing this in the context)

Yeah but I’d argue most people here are not on Hansol’s level. He could get glad with far worse gear.

Unity belt ? You mean the one from quest 265 to 291…
You are talking about using less Flux,Cinders,Ash then.

Yes, but as a returning player I don’t wanna spend my time during a new season farming rep in a zone from a previous season.

I do get that revered is needed if you want your Unity legendary in any slot. But the basic Unity belt from main story should be upgradable, if you are revered or not, this season.

When did zones became season based? This make me sad :cry: please bring back real mmo!

But ZM is still relevant content tho! If you upgrade you cypher consol so the zone drop 252 gear and you still get a free 265 legendary too. I still think that the zone is worth farming out. :slight_smile:

They should make this rep a lot faster. At beast now you can get around 500 rep a day its pitiful. Should be at least 1k.

Yeah there should be like in WOtLK, tabards that gain rep while doing dungeons.
