You need to do something with the Valor system so that regular players can actually upgrade and progress their gear. Right now you can upgrade a weapon four times and all the valor you have earned until now is gone. It’s ridiculous.

Never, Ever, Ever upgrade weapons with valor.
4 Ilvl upgrade on a weapon is 12-16 ilvl upgrade on different gearpieces.
Craft one instead using the new system.
You can make a nearly BiS weapon super easily.
But that just shows how flawed the system is. Spending valor shouldn’t be a science.
It isn’t though.
You put it in the vendor, you look at it and go, Holy smokes thats alot of valor!
You put some other gearpiece in and its 1/3th or 1/4th off the cost.
There is your decision making procces.
I’m not only talking about the weapon. That was just an example of the ridiculous cost. But just forget about it. It’s a pointless discussion anyway.
The point is that regular players should be able to progress their gear more freely with valor. At least make the cap fit with the 8 dungeon requirement of the vault.
Valor cap and catalyst after mythic being open 2-3 weeks is just useless timegating players
I really do not care about some mythic guild doing 150 dungeons to upgrade every piece of their equip.
If they cannot stop themselfs that’s not my problem
you know people addiction is not my problem It doesn’t affect me.
what affects me is that i play only m+ so for me uncaped valor is going to be a good day to day gameplay
I mean right now i’m locked to weekly progression and it’s crap
the items you drop in dungeons are useless because of valor cap
and vault only gives you item once per week and mostly it’s trash because you already have that one from last week
There is a small chance for you to drop item in m+ i mean item that you need
So caped valor doesn’t really make sence to me
There is no point to hold people ilvl because here is something you maybe never heard about blizzzzzard
no matter how high players ilvl is content will kill them because they suck
that was the case in BFA for example
People had free mythic ilvl from chests
They still were bad no amount of gear will help you 
so once again there is no point to have valor caped
